Worth the time.
Nice course. With all the great courses in the Orlando area, I think I've been spoiled. This course is worth a try. Not the best course in town. But not the worst by far. In good shape. Nice layout. With all the rain, the greens were slow. Looks like an overall nice resort, with 54 holes of golf, lots of condos for rent, and a pool and water complex. Probably a great place to take the fam and relax for a week or two.
nice course
i have played this course before but my granddaughter
and she really enjoyed it. the weather was great too!
The Reserve
Challenging layout. New management has brought course back from the brink. Fun to play and close to Disney.
Good Challenge
Great course in a nice setting, fairways and greens in good condition. Nice design with some challenging holes which make you think and offer risk/ reward decisions. Lots of water/trees so if you are wayward, take plenty of golf balls!
Great Course!
I was on vacation in the area and brought my clubs to play some golf while here in FL. This was my first time at the course and I will coming back. Great condition! The greens were amazing and the entire course was very well maintained. They also have plenty of practice bunkers and a driving range. Very good bang for your buck. Very friendly course will all types of par holes.
How do you get 7 hour rounds!
Go to this golf course and try and keep your emotions watching those in front of you playing at a snails pace, from the wrong tees and on Saturday! Know that it is public is not a solution, people need to consideration for those who are playing to a reasonable pace. Slow play is the most annoying part of the game. Please help!
well they expect 4.5 hours
nice course good condition
we played later to try and get around quite quickly and did the first 7 holes in one hour
unfortunately the next 11 holes took 3 hours and 20.
A beginner three ball in front and a two ball in front of them were cutting the course to shreds, would not let us thru, and were not wearing shirts
I complained at the end but they were totally not concerned saying our target speed of play is 4.5 hours, and that at this time of the year there is no ranger.
with that regard to speed of play i won't be back. In general golf and in particlar this course has little future with this lack of concern for peoples enjoyment.
Good challenge
Course was excellent, greens were good almost great but were top sanded ball still rolled true though maybe a bit slower. Overall still very good & will get better in the coming days.
Good course, clubhouse staff not as good as others
Out in Florida playing a few different courses. The course wasn’t bad in good condition and with the selection of tees different skill levels were able to enjoy playing.
The starter was very friendly, Unfortunately compared to other courses we have played the welcome bag drop etc when arriving and finshing left a lot to desired.
The bar staff were good
Good condition
The course was in pretty good shape, had not played here in about a year. Disappointed with legends restaurant as 4 of us sat down and after 5 minutes no one acknowledged us. The place only had about 10 people in it.
Legends of Orange Lake resort what a great course
The fairways were in great shape and the greens were excellent ball rolled nicely. Very well-kept course. Staff was very helpful. I will definitely be going back again .
Nice Challenging Course
Great scenery very similar to the Disney courses but less expensive. The course is in reasonable condition but much better than when we played there last summer,. There are some interesting holes which make you play strategically rather than just reaching for the driver off the tee, so you get to use all the clubs in the bag. Look forward to playing there again soon!
Great Course
The greens were punched about 30 days ago but were in good shape. A little inconsistent in terms of speed but overall good condition. The layout of the course was very enjoyable. Could hit a variety of clubs off the tee. We went out at 4 pm on Friday evening and had no one in front or behind us so we got done in a shade over 3 hours. I would highly recommend the course to anyone.
Favorite Course, But Lights/Trees/Bridge need attention!!!
The 2/5 star rating is in effort for Brown Golf Management to act. I've been playing this course for 10+ years and it is my FAVORITE course in the area simply because you can play it at anytime, and one i plan to bring my daughter too in the future. A former teaching pro in the local Kissimmee/Davenport area, this course offers a great chance to work on your irons and short game. The bunkers are in great condition, the walks from tee to green are always well manicured, and the greens are typically healthy and in good shape, usually slow come night time, but with the grass growing all day, that is to be expected. Brown Management, here is where improvements are needed: lights and trees blocking the lights. There are light poles with some (2, 7, 8 off the top of my head) if not ALL lights out (6), and it makes it difficult to see a putt. Also, trees are blocking lights that work (2 tee box, 8 tee box). Finally after a rain shower the bridge from 4 to 5 badly needs a caution sign because it can be very slippery, especially coming from behind the green of 4, which is a steep slope. Get a sign, prevent a lawsuit. Please fix this gem of a course, I'd be happy to play a round with anyone from BGM so they can see where i'm coming from. Thank you for your time.
Good course. Worth the money.
Nice course. Good layout. Greens are shaped nice makes you think on your approach shots. Today the greens were painfully slow but I hear that’s not normal. Courtney inside was courteous and more importantly efficient. I will definitely play here again.
Nice walking 9 holes course
If you like to walk, with or without a pull cart, this is a nice nine hole golf course! Pull carts do come with the price. The course is well-maintained and features nighttime lights so that you can play up until around 10 PM!
Great fun!
Had a wonderful time on the 9 hole walking course with my son. We are both beginners and the course, in my opinion, was a good course for us.
Great course greens recently punched
Course layout and conditions great but greens recently aerated so that was a bummer but with nice greens this course would be a must play.
