Nice course, overpriced
I expected a more stern test of golf from this course. Back nine is very average to easy. The great condition of the course alone was not enough to justify the high greens fee. This is a good course to play if someone else is paying.
Nice play but very pricey
Not real exciting layout. Green are hard and a little slow. Very much of a country club feel. Great pace played in less than 4 hours. Love all the revetted bunkers. Going back to play again tomorrow.
Great condition
Enjoyed this course very much
Greens were in excellent condition but I found them slow probably a 9 at best on the stimp
Beautiful surroundings and no homes on course felt surreal
No sand bunkers which looked quite different!
Don’t be fooled by the slope rating it’s a lot more challenging than rating
Not worth the money
Paid $300, nice layout but will not be back to pay $300 for this course. The course was empty on a Sunday morning, I can only assume because of the $300 price tag. Greens were sticky, should roll much better for a $300 course. The property was nice, lots of space.
Pristine
Unbelievable condition. Great staff. Played with a friend who is a 15 so we played blue/white. Fun day all around
Quality Public Course north of Naples
Overall a very good experience, greens are in good shape, friendly staff and good pace of play during the week the two times I played. Pricey but below Tiburon and Lely. I will return when back in Naples.
Annual Golf Trip
Went to Naples area for annual guys golf trip this year, and Saltleaf was our first of three rounds in 2 days. Beautiful course in good condition. While this is subjective, $300 for round of golf on a public course is excessive however. Would definitely keep this course at the top of our list to try again should their prices come down a little bit.
Fun
Great conditions. Greens are rolling true. Fun afternoon round of golf.
It's still too bad they haven't worked out a deal with the Hyatt on costs. The Ritz players would expect more.
didn't know how to enter my Troon number.
If you’re looking to hit any balls prior to your round at Saltleaf you should go to another driving range because theirs is a total joke.
Good course but expensive
Course has an interesting layout with no bunkers.
Has waste areas with sodden walls.
15 of 18 holes were good but 3 had odd layouts.
Green fee is at high end.
Worth playing once.
Course was Raptor Bay, but was redesigned under new ownership. The front 9 was particularly challenging due to the narrowness of the fairways. Also they were berms on the edges whereby the golf ball might roll much further into hazard areas Th at might cause more penalty drops . Needed to be highly accurate with your tee shot or fairway shot.
