Best Public Course in SW Florida
Best course we have played in the last 5 years. Conditions are pristine and greens are beautiful. Plenty of variation and beautiful views. Find yourself a better deal on golf now rather than booking through the course.
Nice Course
Excellent bunkers & greens. Staff is extremely friendly, great place to play.
Enjoyed My Time
The course was well maintained and not soul crushing with extra bunkers/water for the weekend golfer. I would say that the price was a bit on the higher side, but I am from MI and maybe our prices are a bit lower.
Staff was nice, but the bar and turn refreshment stand close a few hours earlier than the course closing time. Bring extra water for later tee times.
Great Course and Friendly Staff
Beautiful course and will play again when I am in the area!
Golfnow does not give credit on cancellation
Be careful of Foldnow. I cancelled a foursome within time and my account was not credited. AND there is no was to call them. Beware!
Expensive
An expensive course for the condition and layout Staff very friendly and cooperative from front desk to cart guys especially starter/ranger. But this is not a $300 course. More like $150-200 max.
Overpriced
Salt leaf is an average golf course. Generally in good condition.
Definitely NOT worth the price tag.
No one was at the bag drop when we got there so we had to unload our own clubs - not a big deal but again for the price I would have expected better service.
Was looking forward to Saltleaf. Nice new clubhouse, all staff were great esp. in the pro shop. 5 star before teed off. Course was ok, not worth it if playing full price. Par 3’s pretty basic. Had a pace of play problem for the course layout. Got backed up behind a slow foursome in an outing with zero etiquette. At least a hole behind, waited on every shot. Ranger should have managed this.
Tight Driving Course
While the course was in decent shape the course didn’t fit my eye for a pleasurable experience. Many of the fairways were pinched tight for drivers. No sand traps on the course only coarse waste bunkers. Didn’t see the value for the money.
