Quality Public Course north of Naples
Overall a very good experience, greens are in good shape, friendly staff and good pace of play during the week the two times I played. Pricey but below Tiburon and Lely. I will return when back in Naples.
Annual Golf Trip
Went to Naples area for annual guys golf trip this year, and Saltleaf was our first of three rounds in 2 days. Beautiful course in good condition. While this is subjective, $300 for round of golf on a public course is excessive however. Would definitely keep this course at the top of our list to try again should their prices come down a little bit.
Fun
Great conditions. Greens are rolling true. Fun afternoon round of golf.
It's still too bad they haven't worked out a deal with the Hyatt on costs. The Ritz players would expect more.
didn't know how to enter my Troon number.
If you’re looking to hit any balls prior to your round at Saltleaf you should go to another driving range because theirs is a total joke.
Good course but expensive
Course has an interesting layout with no bunkers.
Has waste areas with sodden walls.
15 of 18 holes were good but 3 had odd layouts.
Green fee is at high end.
Worth playing once.
Course was Raptor Bay, but was redesigned under new ownership. The front 9 was particularly challenging due to the narrowness of the fairways. Also they were berms on the edges whereby the golf ball might roll much further into hazard areas Th at might cause more penalty drops . Needed to be highly accurate with your tee shot or fairway shot.
Great experience
A fun 9-hole experience. The greens are as nice as the championship course. Easy to walk. Try playing 9 before trying to championship course. Perfect warm up.
Great course!
This is a newer course in Bonita Springs. It is wonderful. Feels like it’s been there for a long time - not 1 year now old. Staff was terrific. Holes were challenging - yet fair.
