Yes on June 3rd ! Only our second time at this course. Hole #4 282 yards out unbelievable 3 wood and in! Great experience! Great course!

I have played at The Rookery many times over the last 10 years and it is in AWESOME condition.....staff in the pro shop NICE job ...the cart man got a tip but didn't put my driver head cover on just threw it in with my towel and also never touched my 7 iron it was filled dirt and grass..he's been there along time he should KNOW better an d it wasn't busy...but maybe his big rimmed hat got in the way of seeing no cover on the driver and all the dirt on the 7 iron...

...If you want to have a great experience PLAY "THE ROOKERY".....A GEART WALK not spoiled on this course

Although the green were extremely firm, the course was great and challenging. Great combination of elevations, bunker and water, make this course one to use all your tools.

I played a week ago and found the course in excellent condition. Immaculate fairways and great greens. If you are low handicap player looking for a challenging course with great sight lines from the tip I would definitely recommend this course.

We really enjoyed the course but were a little put off by the 'sniffy' ness of the people who lived there. Wasn't impressed by no food after 3.30!

Two years ago, The Rookery went through some Major Course WORK. Yesterdays round was a Wonderful Experience because the Course is in EXCELLENT SHAPE.

We loved this course! The condition of it was a credit to the owners. The new cart navigational systems are spot on. Only drawback we found was no pro shop or food after 6 pm. We would definitely go back again - probably earlier in the day.

one of the nicest courses i ever played

The best conditioned course i have played in SW Florida. Greens were excellent, though they could be a tad faster. Sand traps well maintained. Fairways are carpets and rough is consistent.

this is where you want to golf if you stay in marco island. perfection.

The course was in outstanding condition with the fairways being like carpet and the greens fast and true. Lots of sand and water are strategically placed on the course. Great selection of tee box choices for players of all levels. Drink and snack cart came by several times during my round and after the ninth hole, cold moist white wash cloths are available to keep you cool. Cold water with ice and cups are available every few holes.

My wife and I played on a Thursday morning and were paired with a very enjoyable couple . The fairways were in great shape, well mowed, but not so short that every shot was off a tight lie. Greens are very firm and most shots release after landing - hard to get a shot to check up. They had been top dressed a week or so earlier, but rolled true and fast. Course is challenging, but fun, without too many forced carries for shorter hitters. We'll maintained and pretty course.

Enjoyed the course. Booked as a single. But as another reviewer pointed out, members are stuffy about playing with non-members. I played by myself as a member played the the whole 18 just behind me.

And yes, I invited him to join me. He refused.

Green greens and fairways, easy out and not crowded. We played Tiburon a few days earlier. This course was a much better experience!

Course is on superb shape-challenging layout. Going back to play in a few days.

It is hard to imagine a more beautiful wetlands setting for golf. Wading birds virtually ignore you as your ride by. Although I played the morning after an all day steady rain the course retained very little standing water and played true and fair. Greens were challenging yet rewarded good putts. The fairways and tee boxes were in excellent conditions. Comfort stations offered water, ice, and cold towels. This is a first class course worth playing.
