Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club

A member of our foursome had his young son with him who doesn't play and was just going to ride because there was no school. We show up to the starter with 3 carts and he sends them back to the pro shop saying we should only have 2 carts and he needed to pay the 33$ cart fee, that's all fine. Him and his son go back to pay for a 3rd cart but the grumpy power tripping old man at the counter wouldn't let them and they both ended up going home not wanting to have his son squeezed in the middle 3 to a cart on this hot day. All of us prepaid through golf now so we're stuck having to leave him behind, and he received no refund from the course for his round. This ruined a planned day for all of us involved, we could of easily went to a course closer to home... The starter said he would find us on the course to make things right because 'this was all a misunderstanding' but nothing was done. This will be our last round after having played here for years and recommended this course to countless other golfers. Very disappointed in how the shop and starter handled this situation.

This course is always in great shape and has very beautiful holes. Greens ae good shape also!!

Would go back anyday, played the south course

Last round in Florida before heading north. Picked this course because it is an awesome place. My wife and I played with two brothers thanks guys for a nice day on the links

Course was good but some tees were closed and holes shortened. Disappointing. Price wasn’t reduced. Full price for less than full course. North was better condition.

No alert on GolfNow regarding work being done on the bunkers. A nice par 5 was played as a short par 4, tee off in the fairway!

Played a round of golf with my son and had an enjoyable day. He hits it further than I do so playing from different tees evened things out. Both of us had a challenging, but fair course to play.

Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. We saw the beverage cart 3-4 times during our round which was more than adequate.

Nice driving range and friendly staff. Course in nice shape. Same thing as other courses pace of play. Very simple get ready to hit the ball Example two guys finish playing hole than and stand on the green talking.

This course is by far above and beyond any other course locally. I’ve been playing here since it opened. What a Beautiful view from the clubhouse looking over the 9th and 18th holes but the Beauty is just the beginning. The driving range is top notch as well as the putting green. Fairways are in great condition, greens are like you are putting at TPC Sawgrass. The staff is above 10 stars they really make you feel welcome. I’ve played all the courses around and TPC, Cheval, even saddlebrook and they are not even close to a good value for the money.

Was a bit surprised to find the course on the hilly side especially for Florida. Nice layout with a tons of fairway bunkers. Greens rolled very nice.

Really nice course, in excellent condition, played in just over 4 hours on a Sunday afternoon.

Since World woods went offline Lake Jovita has become my favorite course in the area. It’s not a bad drive from Tampa and the layout is great. Cart girl was working hard and pace was good. If you can get a Golf now deal grab it. Even if not it’s worth the money.

Great experience! Great staff. Too bad some golfers to see fit to take the traps when they're in them! A course ranger could help ? Over all great course! We will be back to explore the South Course...
