Lines on the greens after being punched. Difficult to putt with these grabbing the ball as it rolled into them. Photo submitted by bvmagic on 05/30/2016

Everything Was Perfect
Played the North course and it's in great shape. Rye has come in well in the fairways. Greens are very fast and rolling well. I've played this course at least 50 times and this is the best overall condition I've experienced here. Compares very favorably, if not better, than all the other high end courses in the area.
If you've never played here, not your typically flat course as is the norm in the Tampa area. Lots of rolling hills (small), non-flat lies. Depending on pin locations, can have upwards of 8-10 foot breaks on putts.
Outstanding conditions
South course in excellent condition. Greens in very good condition, running fast!
Lake Jovita North Course
My wife & I played the North Course for the 2nd time today (1st Time was 2 years ago) and again enjoyed ourselves. The Course was in good condition although a little damp in places and the greens were very good. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We will definitely play here again and hope to try the South Course.
great course layout
I have played this course several times now, and have always enjoyed it. The course is in great shape now, with the overseeding having grown in. I think the fellow setting the pins today must have got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning- pins were tough, in sloping areas of the greens, making it almost impossible to leave the ball close to the hole. Good for tournament play, but greens fee players? Takes us over an hour to get there, we will be back.
West FL Pro
Greens rolled true at 11 or 12. Course in great condition for a pro tournament tomorrow. Fairways and tee boxes winterized with rye for great play this winter. Always a great place to play a round.
Best course for a player in area
Loves Lake Jovita! Played north course, greens are excellent. Overseeding fairways had us walking to and from cart some but fairway conditions also excellent. I highly recommend playing this course if you have the opportunity.
A bit wet
I would love to play this course when it is dry and firm. It is a good layout to utilize the ground more and look forward to playing it again
Best in Dade City area
Both the north and south courses are great. Highly recommend. They recently over seeded so I only rated condition a 4.... closer to 4.5 and coming back nicely. The north layout is a bit longer and much different than the south. Hills and elevation. Quick sloping greens. Plays well for all handicaps.
South course gem
Greens we're pinched recently but they were rolling very nice. The fairways are looking nice and lies were great
Scenic
Pace of play was poor. Couldn't get a rhythm going.
Course disappointing due to mtce.
The South Course at Lake Jovita was a disappointment today. They are still in their maintenance mode for over seeding so there was no carts on the fairways. Also the grass was getting long due to the new growth so the golf balls would always get caught up in the longer grass. I under stand that maintenance needs to be performed but it should be told to the public when they book a golf game.
One of My Favorite Courses in This Area
This is a scenic course with a good layout. One par 5 has an elevation drop of 90 ft from tee to green.
Greens were fast and rolled well which makes them very difficult. First time players will have trouble reading the big breaks on some putts. Generally, very large greens.
Tees and fairways were overseeded recently and carts were restricted to rough only. Lots of mud on the ball. This will change within a week or so.
Traps need sand and work....holdover from summer rainy season? I've played this course frequently in the past 10 years this may be the worst I've seen the traps....okay just don't hit in the traps:)
5 sum
I can’t believe they aloud a 5 sum and 2 of them and of course they were in front of me
One of the best public courses in TPA area
North course is that good good! Open holes, great condition, besides the plugged greens... but this is one of the best around.
