Mission Inn Resort & Club

Front nine was very good and fun to play. Back nine was in poor condition fairways were either bare or trying to resod or very wet and your cart would almost get stuck.

I know, i am a 2 some behind a 4 some, have no "rights", but what is wrong w some people! Course empty, 9 00 was a 4 some, we were 2 some at 940...and noone behind us for over an hour.....caught them on 5th hole, and it was brutal, watching 1 guy take 5 practice swings, another guy hitting not past the red tees, the gal hitting 50 yds off reds, all, losing balls (we guess at least 5 per player), should have let us play thru by 8th hole (par 3) (6 balls in water, but i may have lost count), but nope...and 2 some behind us caught us on 11th hole as we waited and waited and waited....4:35 to play as 2 some, rude, horrible people...yah we could have skipped a hole, passed them by, but really???? We love this course, but have never seen a ranger, and have never played in under 4 30!!!

I've played both courses. Given my high handicap, Las Colinas is by far my favorite at the resort. Each hole is varied and nicely spaced. The course is long and it can be exhausting to play all 18 holes, but I've made the drive several times niw from Orlando. The course is a great, wide-open venue. I'll return for sure.

From booking online to walking into the Pro Shop it couldn't be easier. The staff had our reservation and we were on our way in five minutes. The starter got us two carts and sent us on our way. There were two groups that teed off right in front of us and they never held us up! After we finished we went inside for cold drinks and the staff was great in serving us and refilling our drinks when they got low!! The course was in excellent shape very challenging and the greens were plenty fast and very smooth! The course had a drink cart which stopped several times to see if we needed any drinks or food!! You won't go wrong playing this course! We will be back to play the other 18 soon!

What I love about Las Colinas is that you are out in nature without houses lining the fairways. Most of the holes have Woods lining at least one side if not both sides of the fairway. Beautiful Florida landscape with a challenging course that made the day so much fun!

course is in great shape. Tough course to go low requires distance control and shot shaping.

Always enjoy this course, however, this time was the worse I have ever experienced. The group in front of us were extremely slow, zero golf experience, driving in circles in the fairway, taking forever on the greens. It took five and a half hours to play a round, two groups dropped out due to the playing time. It really took the enjoyment out of the round. Hopefully management will better monitor in the future.

Second I don't understand why there isn't any cart refreshments on the course. I could make a lot of money running a drink cart, but the last three times I have played, no one selling refreshments.

Let me first start off by saying I love playing in Mission Inn both courses. I got to the course early and checked in at the pro shop and then waited a little bit and went and checked in with the starter. When I handed him my ticket and told him my teatime, he was like you’re gonna have to wait around,, I said that was fine, but it was the way he stated it. I wasn’t asking to go out early as I knew that it was Labor Day. It was a really big group ahead of when I did tee off, so it made for extremely slow play, because the foursome in front of us kept looking for their golf balls, etc. I was paired with a really nice couple and we made the best of it and had fun playing the course.

The course itself is in great shape, there wasn’t a cart girl at first, but I guess they had called in somebody and it was very nice to see her on the back nine because it was getting warm.

If you get a chance, play either course here at Mission Inn, because the course itself is great

Called before booking to ask about green maintenance. Was told greens were punched/sanded 4 weeks ago. Called day before to confirm tee time, no comments or advisories on maintenance. Get to course and gentleman at the pro shop was kind of rude and awkwardly quiet. Walk out to go play and sure enough, the greens are being sanded the same day. I know this practice of being shady about course maintenance is widespread. But when I travel 1.5 hours to play at a resort course, I’d like to know the greens are even worth putting on. I’d probably still give you my money and play, but at least I’d know what to expect.

This course is worth every penny. It’s in great shape, staff is friendly, great food, overall excellent experience.

I think the Campeon Course was wonderful, and very reasonably priced. A great day of golfing and I would recommend it, as well as plan on returning.
