Very unique course for central Florida. Beautiful layout and lot of fun from start to finish. Greens rolled fast and tree, great elevation changes, and many unique holes.

Course I’m very good condition, pace of play <4 hrs, courteous staff!

Had a great time playing this course. Staff was super friendly, food at the. Luv house after the round was awesome. Cart girl had great timing. And the course was in great shape. We will definitely be back.

This place was could be awesome but not with an 8 minute tee time spread. Pace of play was terrible b/c they have a tournament on the older course. Call me crazy but once course should not make the other course play terribly slow. That happens when the proshop doesn’t manage the reservations properly or in other words gets greedy. We will not be coming back.

1st round of the year! A great way to start. The layout of the course was fun and challenging. There were a few elevations and not much water to be a concern. For us it was great no one in front of us and the group behind us kept with the pace, so no pushing. Would play here again, when prices come down a little. Probably should have booked through golf now. This was part of a package deal. All and all it was great fun.

Only course open on Christmas Day in the local are worth playing. Very small crowd and pace was great, after we went around a twosome holding the whole course up. Greens are always shaggy here and slow. Wish they speed them up. Rest of course was in good shape.

Course was in fantastic condition. Kudos to the ground crews. Greens were oerfect!

I had heard about the course from other golfers and decided to make the one-hour drive from Kissimmee. I was not disappointed. The course has much more elevation change than any other course I have played in Central Florida, plus lots of water hazards and sand traps. The first two holes (a par 5 followed by a par 3) give you an indication of what is to come. The third hole lulls you into complacency before you arrive at the fourth hole where there is a forced carry across a large pond with the fairway sloping up a ski hill. It continues from there. The course conditioning was good and the greens rolled true even though recovering from being punched a few weeks prior.

If I had to note one negative, it was the pace of play. Our group was waiting on EVERY shot and there was no sign of a course ranger/marshall trying to speed up play.

Looking forward to going back to play there again.

The Las Colinas course showed to be a disappointment for me only because I had high expectations from playing their El Campeon course which iOS well groomed and has a great layout. The Las Colinas course seemed like the step child who was slightly abused due to all the focus on its big. brother.

We played Las Colinas a few months ago and decided to return to Mission Inn the day after Christmas to play El Campeon. We drove and hour, and expected a full course.

Pace of play was spot on — never waited, and never pushed.

The course was in great condition tee to green, and the hills provided some challenges you don’t often get in central Florida, and some great views too.

Definitely worth the drive — we’ll be back!

Mission Inn’s El Campeon is one of my favorite courses in the Orlando area. It’s well-worth the drive out to it. Great layout, consistent conditions, a good variety of holes, always get paired up with great people. My only complaint this trip was that the greens were extremely top-dressed with sand and no warning was given. It did not always seriously affect the greens’ smoothness, but there definitely were times that it did. It was also difficult to gauge the speed from green to green. I was disappointed that I paid $70 for greens that were not consistent. A warning next time would be appreciated.

I play this course whenever I am in the area. It is in best shape I have seen. Greens were rolling extremely well. A couple tees perhaps not at their best but fairways and greens were great. I played early morning in about three hours. It has surprising elevation changes for a Florida course. Holes 4, 5, 6 and 7 all play 1.5 to 2 clubs longer on approach to greens.

I played thanksgiving day. Green was very good condition. But last saturday12/18/21 green was OK conditoon. I live Orlando and drove more than 50 minutes with toll. That kind of green conditon do not attract golfer who live in orlando.
