Good Value
The course is quite challenging.It winds around housing which makes it a bit disjointed when you have to go between houses and across roads to get to the next tee.
The fairways were not the best and the greens were exceptionally slow.
Overall I did enjoy my round and would play again if in area.

Disappointed to find out it was cart path only, the fairways had been seeded to prepare for the busy season, certainly needed, they were so patchy with completely bare areas and extremely long new grass in others.
The course did not appear as well kept as I would have expected but the greens, although they were slow, were consistent and in fair condition
Polish this diamond
Post Hurricane Ian the course was a tad rough around the edges. But the maintenance crew did the right thing by keeping the heavy machinery in the garage.
The layout is fantastic IMO. Forgiving fairways but some waste bunkers that add bite.
Kudos to the staff. Nice guys. Same with the cart crew.
Make sure you grab a bite. The food is tasty, the service great and the beer cold.
I played this course 19 years earlier and wanted to get back.
Glad I did.

Overseeding. Cart path only
Everyone was extremely friendly. They are in the process of overseeding so unfortunately it was cart path only on all holes

Horrible golf course!
First, and we found out from players it was cartpath only. When we asked the pro shop they said they posted this on Golf now, which as you can see, is a complete lie. The practice area, along with most of the tee boxes, looked like a cow pasture. The fairways were also in very bad shape and overgrown, even though they said they had over seeded. I am not sure if they were over seeding the branches, the dirt, the sand, or what but it was not worth $10 in total. I have been to this course several times but will never return based on today’s experience. Also, there was a party of eight very young men ahead of us that scattered when the Ranger came, but played together when he was not looking. We told him about that and he said he thought he saw same, which made for an extremely long round.

Enjoyable round
The course was recovering from the activities of hurricane Ian the previous week, so we were restricted to remaining on carts paths but that was understandable. You could see in a few areas where the water had been but it didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the course. The front nine holes are challenging but we really enjoyed the back nine, the way the holes were laid out and some of the views. Would definitely recommend trying the course.

Nice Day
Golfed at Mystic the other day and considering they are in the middle of seeding with Rye Grass the course was in decent shape. During the couple of weeks of over seeding it is typical that they do not mow the fairways, not a big deal winter rules. The staff was helpful and friendly, the beer was cold, and we will definitely be back this winter once the Rye Grass is grown in. Definitely a must play this upcoming season.

Disappointed
The starter welcomed us nicely and then went down hill. Trying to get a beverage from the bar took ages. Started only to find it was cart path only? I would understand but the fairways (apart from 1 hole) were dry as a bone so no reason. One hole was closed for maintenance this was not mentioned to us and we come up to the tee just to find the markers had been removed so we asked the maintenance guy who was very polite and apologetic. The pace of play was terrible, the greens were poor fairways were nice and in good condition. Tees were ok and this is about it. The bar afterwards was great food and a lovely friendly waitress/server not the same one as the morning. So with all this I would not recommend the golf but certainly the food was great. It is one of those courses that looks like it will offer you so much but lets you down far too often.

Bad day
Course failed to inform us prior to booking that it was cart path only as well as 1 hole betting closed for work. Bathrooms on the back nine were out of service again nothing said. Course itself in need of e work. Lots of crabgrass on greens fairways not in good shape. Overall for the rate of $50 not worth it.

Disgusted
Played Mystic Dunes yesterday and I don’t think I’ve ever played a course in worse condition.
Tees,greens and fairways were in a terrible condition and this was not a result of the recent hurricane

Fairways,greens and tees were all in the worst possible condition .
Would certainly NOT recommend paying to play here.
On arrival was infcartpath only and that the 6th hole was out of play.
Can’t say I’ll ever want to play here again!!
