Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge

We were 5 minutes over time and the ranger came during 5 holes to us to tell us if we not speed up we have to skip a hole.

We speeded up, only to find us waiting on every hole after the flight before us.

What a waste of time and money.

Worst attitude ever

Crooked Cat was a very scenic course. Tha fairways were in good shape but the greens had been sanded the morning of our play, it would of been nice if someone would of told us this. Not much break on the greens, when reading a break it never broke probably because of the sand.

Course was in great shape. Staff, especially Marshall on crooked cat, were very friendly. Practice facilities pre-round were great. Paid $10 for a medium bucket and hit chips to a couple of greens and nice large putting green as well. Carts are GPS equipped. Fun layout. Would definitely play again.

We loved the course. The staff is friendly. I wish it was a little less expensive, but it's one of the better courses in the area, for sure.

Took a 4 day trip and played 36 at ChampionsGate,, Grand Cypress, Orange County and 18 at Shingle Creek. My son and I both agreed that the courses at Orange County were our favorites and worthy of playing there 3 or more days on our next trip.

Why a facility! The driving range is off the hook. Conditions for an end of February day were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem is finding the pro shop for the 9 hole course. It’s easily a 1/2 from the parking lot with few if any helpful signage.

GPS get confused because the 9th is the former 1st, and the 2nd is the old 3rd … etc … took awhile to fix it so I had good yardages.

Conditions were excellent. Golfers seem to fix their ball marks, and the green rolled true and fast.

Nowhere else can you get a glimpse of such a prestigious course for so cheep. Amazing staff very helpful and friendly. A little secret... You can play it a second time for just $10!

Last minute golfing vacation, was able to book a 2 some. Love playing golf a course with superb conditions. Not easy. But fair.

Bigtime course very challenging. They have more sand traps than I’ve ever seen. The course is in great shape and would definitely recommend it .

Panther was in great shape. We played behind a pro, jr golfer and instructor and we still stayed in a 4 hour pa e. Not bad for a early morning rpu d but it could have been a bit faster. No reason a 4 some should keep up with a threesome.

A terrific layout, challenging with multiple tee locations for any level of player, courteous staff, but be prepared $$$ . Treat yourself, get out early, and enjoy it.

Impressive facility, difficult to get to, not quite a resort quality experience. Heard from several people that Crooked Cat is the better course.

We had a 5 hour round, we got stuck behind a slow group but even without them the tee time intervals were tighter than they should be for the price point.

Wonderful rough, smooth greens, great tee boxes. Fun challenging layout. Bunkers everywhere, doglegs, false fronts, some tiered greens with heavy slopes. Long course even from senior tees (5400).

Carts had GPS (no green slopes), water was not provided. Range balls were not provided if you had a tee time at 1:00pm or later. Limited food items at turn.
