Course is in good shape considering it hasn't been opened in a few years.
Happy to be back playing on it.
Fun course
The entire facility is under renovation and there hasn't been rain in forever, but considering those things the course is perfectly ok. The greens are in great shape but the fairways and tee boxes are dry and grass sparse in some areas. It's a nice track though and is playing nicely.
Good condition considering the drought
The greens are in good condition though a bit slow and the tees are in very good condition. The fairways are a bit sparce due to the very serious drought. Best course conditions in the Crystal River area.
Glad to have it !
Due to storms & flooding, the course had been closed for a couple seasons. A new ownership group has come in and are putting a ton of investment in and making significant improvements. The course itself is currently in pretty good shape, and the greens are really nice!
Plantation Crystal River Golf Course
Fairways not so good, greens are great. Tee boxes are so-so! If you can get discount on Golfnow do it otherwise too expensive!
Trying to bring the course back
It's open again and the greens are new and very good. The rest of the course brown due to winter and drought. It's a fun course, some water and sand traps that are in play. Worth a look.
The course was in fair condition due to the rain.
I enjoyed the course it would be nice to play again when the drought goes away.
No over seed on fairways therefore they were very scarce. And in some places muddy with bare ground.
Course coming back
Great layout and good condition. Greens were a little slow but in very good condition. The recovery from the tornado and hurricane are well underway
They're still recovering from tornado damage so the club house and amenities are basically non-extant. The course was in impressive condition comparative to others in the local area.
A little wt around the course rain was about 10 days ago.Ball plugged on occasions some of ladies tees were uncut and off fairways grass too long easy to lose balls.
Will not play again for a while!
Great course
Nice golf course and priced right. I paid maybe $45. I’m sure I caught the perfect weekend. Got a tee time Friday night for Saturday 8am. Played in 3 hours. The course was really nice. Met the pro great guy. Let me hit range balls for free. And let me play golf Friday for free because I missed that last tee time. Really cool guy!
Wet but playable.
This is a typical old school Florida golf course. The conditions were pretty good, just a little wet in some areas because of the recent rains. Greens are coming back nicely after recent airification.
Would like to play it again when it dries out.
Plantation Resort
I didn’t enjoy the course like last year. Reason it was so wet from all the rain. Other than that it is an amazing golf course!
I think I saw Swamp Thing teeing off
Not worth playing at this time due to the swampy conditions. Hole number one was cart path only (like almost all the rest) because of being too wet, had sprinklers running!
When this course drys out it’s beautiful but right now it’s not worth it.
