Ponte Vedra Inn & Club

About Ponte Vedra Inn & Club
Somewhat overshadowed by Sawgrass, this classic inn and resort predates it by several decades. Two charming golf courses have benefited from the design expertise of local resident and experienced architect Bobby Weed, and the new Lodge recently increased the resort's accommodations complement by several dozen rooms. Ponte Vedra Inn & Club should be near the top of the list for visitors seeking a sense of Old Florida.Facts

Okay course for the money
Fairway are a little rough. Greens okay
Tee boxes need work
Save your $!
Worst conditions I’ve played in, since the Eagles
Bear tee boxes, Lousy, fairways, and even worse greens.
I drove 45 minutes from Tampa to get there, time, I unfortunately will never get back
Walked off the course, disgusted , after nine holes
Save your money!
Pass it by!
One of the worst courses I’ve played in Southern Florida.
Poor tee boxes, poor fairways, lousy greens
I walked off after nine holes. The layout could be nice, although a little funky, if you haven’t played it before.
But there was no excuse for the conditioning
Especially, for the green fee they charged
Stay away!
Ghost Town
Maybe everyone is home watching the Masters vs playing on this beautiful day, I dunno. But this place was a ghost town. Sat 12:45 tee time and had the course to myself. Beautiful tract of land, somewhat neglected tho. Amazing homes surround the course. You can tell it used to be amazing, but something’s amiss. Greens rolled tight n right, lots of wildlife, and generally a grip n rip type of course. Def recommend! Free range balls, nice practice bunker and greens. Killer clubhouse and bar, new carts with GPS and Bluetooth. Where are all the people? Who cares, come check it out and stay a while.
nice course no on there
Played at lunch and didn't wait at all very quick round.
Terrible golf course
Basically this course is a decent layout but without any upkeep other than mowing the weeds. Don’t waste your time and money on this!
RW
Great layout, but the course needs better irrigation to be a top tier course.
Need helps
The course needs help. Maintenance staff either doesn’t exist, or they don’t have the funds to take care of it anymore. It’s going downhill fairly quickly.
No grass
Have played here before but the course conditions have really deteriorated. Mostly bare dirt and very thin grass. Not sure if it's lack of water or disease but terrible. Hard to bet they charge $65
Fairways very thin ,tee boxes need water and reseeding..Greens fast.
RW
I play RW regularly, because during snowbird season their prices are reasonable. I have seen conditions improve quite a bit over the last year. Their bunkers have genuine sand in them. Greens have improved greatly over the last couple of months. Layout is challenging with a nice mix of hard and easier holes. Hopefully, we get some rain or they will have to start irrigation on the course.
Too pricey for what you get.
Other local courses offer much better course conditions for the same price this time of year.
Needs a lot of work
Unfortunately this course is in horrible condition. The fairways and rough are hard pan and the greens are just as bad. I’m not sure who set the price for this course but there is no world that anyone should pay that kind of money for a golf course in this condition.
