Ponte Vedra Inn & Club
About Ponte Vedra Inn & Club
Somewhat overshadowed by Sawgrass, this classic inn and resort predates it by several decades. Two charming golf courses have benefited from the design expertise of local resident and experienced architect Bobby Weed, and the new Lodge recently increased the resort's accommodations complement by several dozen rooms. Ponte Vedra Inn & Club should be near the top of the list for visitors seeking a sense of Old Florida.Facts

Will definitely play again!
1st class staff, great layout and overall fun course to play. We will be back, one-off the best values for a great golf experience in Florida.
River Wilderness
Just a great day at River Wilderness! We paired up with another really nice couple from Ohio... now living in Lakewood Ranch. The course is in great shape and they just build a great new patio overlooking parts of the course and the driving range. We also enjoyed a wonderful dinner in their beautiful dining room. Anyone who has yet to play River Wilderness should!
Challenging Course
An excellent course well worth the money
Greens are very good and run true
Some tight holes and some nice and wide a good selection of different lengths of holes
Greens could be better
Course is an excellent test of ability. You need to use every club and accuracy matters. However the greens were shaggy and slow. The greens did not hold can approach shots ran mor than expected.
Great Course
This was my first time playing this course. My group and I were pleasantly surprised by the course, especially for the rate during season. We paid $44 for a great course when all other courses that were comparable were charging at least $85. The course was in great shape, fair layout and the pace of play was excellent. I definitely plan to go back to this course.
New course
Challenging drives with nice greens. I will be back.
Great value
I paid $45 fora 12:30 tee times. For the price it’s excellent. Pro shop guy was friendly. Grass range with balls included in the price. Starter was a little gruff. Tee boxes good. Fairways good. Greens okay. Had some patchy spots and the speed was inconsistent. On a few greens the grass completely changed on half the green causing issues. All in all the greens were playable and not bumpy.
Layout was pretty cool. Get to see some nature. Few hawks and some fish jump.
Maybe this is an outlier but no one was on the course. Played Saturday at noon with a foursome. Flew through the course.
Would go back. Price is too good and what you get is comparable to Misty Creek for half the price.
Solid course.
Solid 4 stars. Some fairways are a bit sandy but you can tell this course is a work in progress. Good mix of open/ tough holes where strategy is important. Pace of play was very good (starter did a very good job and I even saw them driving around making sure everyone was playing up to pace). Will play again and I will recommend to others
Terrific
Since last we played in December, course in very good shape. Quite lush, greens receptive and roll well. Tee boxes overused in certain areas. New ownership making major strides
