Ponte Vedra Inn & Club

We didn’t realize we were part of a tournament until we checked in but it worked out great as it was a shotgun and we’re able to breeze through 18 and played a couple of extra holes in before leaving. We played as a 3 some with Brian a former MLB player and had fun even if we weren’t included in the tournament.

Was surprised at the difference at the course. It was very enjoyable and in good shape, especially the greens.

Pace of play was super 3 1/2 hr round.

The course is under pressure. Greens putted well and the course was ok. The biggest complaint is it's a members course and the 6 some of the members who played in front of us didn't really care about any of the non-member players behind them and staff was powerless.

the club appears to not be investing in the course at this time. Looks like all cash is going into the clubhouse.. Looked and sounded more exciting in the advertisements but it's really a housing development country club.. excellent wildlife of birds and some alligators.

First time playing here. Course was in great shape. Greens rolled true. Course set up made you have to think about your shots. Loved the challenge. Will come back.

River Wilderness was playing very challenging due to 20 mph winds. The greens rolled well and were consistent speeds. The bunkers need maintenance badly - grass was growing in several of them. Overall, it’s a solid track!

This course is in better condition than I expected based on reviews. Lots of wildlife to see, fun layout. No ‘boring’ holes.

The bunkers could use just a little TLC but otherwise the course was in very good condition and the greens rolled true.

Nice, new, comfortable carts with very good GPS.

This course had the best pace of play I have had on this trip.

This is the kind of golf I come to Florida for.

Great value for the money, very friendly, helpful staff and we really enjoyed the layout. Pace of play was great (4 hrs w/a short pit stop at the turn). Course overall is in great condition. We will be back.

Course was challenging but fun.

Course was in good shape, fairways were tight lies.

Course is getting better and better. Greens a little slow, but other than that I am impressed by the progress this course is making. Quicker service at the turn would help pace of play.

Staff is very courteous. Lunch was good but slow service...too much for one person. New patio is well done but they need to routinely clean it. Nice practice areas. Course was kind of boring. Sand traps are a mess and need to be maintained. Based upon other reviews, expected greens to be in better shape and was very disappointed. Looks like an old facility and course that they are trying to restore. If so, they are making strides but still have a ways to go. Paid the twilight rate and with pace of play, was able to get all 18 in. Would not pay more to play here now, maybe in a year or two.

The course was in the best shape of any course we’ve played this winter, including tees, fairways, rough, and greens. Pace was also the best we’ve experienced this winter. We were never held up and never pushed.

This course was recommended to me, so I gave it a try and had high expectations. The layout is pretty good, but conditions below average. The greens varied hole by hole, from shaggy to bumpy to dead spots. None of them rolled true and overall were slow. Fairway turf was ok. Slow play, waiting on every shot. No ranger on course, no drinking water except at turn, and no beverage cart. There are better options in this price range.
