Great Staff
My wife and I arrived early before our round on Palmer Course and had an awesome lunch in the club house. We checked in at pro shop, then with Dick to get our cart. We hit some balls on the range (range turf needs some work), then went back to starter to get our round under way. Dick informed us that the Palmer course was backed up with golf vacation groups and suggested we play the Watson course for a more enjoyable round which we did. Unfortunately, an unforcasted heavy drizzle started on our third hole and did not let up. After waiting under trees and comfort station, we headed back to pro shop; they gave us a rain check without question. We look forward to going back for a great round. Thank you Reunion staff for being awesome.
Greens ok, the rest was in poor conditions for a golf course with this price tag
The greens were ok. Just punched. Ball rolled true. The rest of the golf course was in very poor conditions, all kinds of grasses growing everywhere, bunkers with little sand , you could even see the filter fabric in some cases. We paid $100 and this golf course current conditions are not a $100 price tag. I played here before and it was not in this conditions. They even charged us a surcharge of $5… Nah for $100 go somewhere else. The layout is nice…of course is a Nicklaus design. The administration must so something to get this golf course back in shape! I am not recommending anyone to play here.
Disappointing
Was really excited to play this course for the first time. Had very high expectations based on previous reviews. I was very disappointed to find the course in very poor conditions. Greens were fast and rolling good but aerated (were never told about it). Bunkers looked good and raked, but my club got wrapped around the liner on a bunker shot. Fairways and surroundings full of weeds and dead spots. Unacceptable for a course that charges so much for a round.
We checked in on a prepaid tee time reservation, and they sent somebody to find us at the driving range after, because they failed to collect a $5 surcharge. Are they really that desperate for money? First and last time.
Excellent course. Very challenging
The Watson course is in excellent condition tee to green. It is a test with its length and tricky greens. Would definitely play here again.
Great & Challenging Coarse
Great & Challenging Coarse. Overall great experience and will play again if the opportunity. Great & very challenging green. Very challenging to hit and position oneself for easy putts.
Slowest round i have ever played
Something is not right when you tee off and by the 3rd hole it is backed up with two foursomes in front of you waiting on tee box. Had to play the rest of round waiting 10min a hole to tee off. Called pro shop on 3rd to report and they were to send someone out. Never saw anyone. Made for a terrible round. Off at 11:40. Finished at almost 5::30. Can’t say anything good about anything else waiting 10min to hit ever shot. Mid-Morning weekend or not. Should never happen
Feel like a pro
Excellent condition. Fairways immaculate. Greens the best you will play on. Very fast. Sand traps scattered on fairway n near greens. Course mgmt a must. Some elevation. Treat yourself.
Fun day
The tee boxes need a lot of work fairways in good shape greens lightning fast some patchy spots and people need to fix there ball marks played through 2 groups by the 5 th hole and thetas course to myself my biggest complaint is no carts in the parking lot had a very long walk to my car afterwards but other than that will play again
Reunion Palmer definitely worth the time
Nice course that was challenging but not overly difficult. Great layout and condition of the course was excellent. The staff was great and we had a wonderful 4 hours of play.
Very enjoyable round of golf
Arrival was confusing as there was no attendant at bag drop area. No Carts were available for my group. Had to carry bag down to cart area. Staff was very busy trying to turn over carts as they came in and apologized for delays. Practice areas were well stocked with balls. Starter interaction during warmup was positive. Course was in excellent condition. Unfortunately, also had to carry my bag up hill after finishing round.
Very good but
Rough around the edges re waste areas and residential construction. Takes away from scene. Way above average for central Florida.
True Test of a Nicklaus design
My brother and I played 18 holes with no one behind us and had a great time. Great course and challenging with all the hidden greens. Bring your A game folks.
