Since 1981, Saddlebrook Resort has been a go-to-destination for golfers, located just 30 miles north of Tampa International Airport. The resort's two original Arnold Palmer designs are being redesigned in 2025 into a 27-hole combination by Rees Jones. This entirely new playing experience will pair with a new 13-acre practice facility, home to a two-sided range, and golf school to engage golfers. A world-class tennis facility is another major attraction of this resort. Palmer
Great layout, a few bare areas, fairways cut a bit close for my liking overall if you can get a good deal it's worth the drive
Not bad
Course was challenging, but many of the greens had repairs that made them hard to play.
Very enjoyable time at Saddlebrook. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Greens were nice lots of breaks so ball position is important, but they rolled very true and are in excellent condition, with only a few minor blemishes. Fairways nice and pretty wide open. Overall a very nice course and will be back. Also we were lucky enough to get put out on the Palmer course, without asking for upgrade.
Saddlebrook
Greens were rolling at a 10... which is always great. Winter conditions in a few places in the fairways with thin lies.
Overall a nice course...
Course is in fair condition. Fairways are a bit thin, but playable. Greens are nice, not overly fast, hold approach shots well. Beverage cart came by on front nine, but we were disappointed that she was not around at all on the back nine.

With all the restrictions going on was totally different experience at Saddlebrook.
No forced valet parking which I like...course was in good shape, greens fast and true...have played it 4 times through the years, would gladly go back.
Sad
I have played this course several times in the last 6 months and it has always been in great condition. Today was shocking to see how much it has gone down hill in the last 4 weeks. Greens terrible, fairways almost non existent on some holes. I love the course but wont be going back until the conditions improve ten fold.
Superb
The Palmer course was everything I expected. The greens were perfect. They held. The distance from the blue tees was challenging but not overwhelming. I wish it was closer to NPR.
Nice layout
We enjoyed or time on the saddlebrook course. Some greens need a little help but you could tell they are working on them. Hopefully in a few months they will be better. Tight fairways which makes it nice not having to hit driver on every hole but if you can hit straight drives you’ll be happy.
