Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Course is in excellent condition and a pleasant experience for us.

Course is in great condition even though they just aerated. Greens were sandy as expected but didn’t take anything away from the experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyable round.

This course if laid out well. Bunkers are challenging, but fair. The fairways were perfect. Staff are very friendly and very willing to answer questions.

Have wanted to play the raven for years when coming go Destin. Had played the sandestin links before but no other experience at the resort courses. Price was $109 hotdeal which seemed reasonable. The design is great. Very challenging with awesome water features and well-placed bunkers. Clubhouse was a little less than expected given Kelly and Regattas clubhouses. Halfway house was nice touch. Only letdown was course conditions for the price. Greens were pretty slow and some tee boxes were in poor shape from the whites. Would return but would not pay more than I did.

Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were a little slow due to sand left after aeration. My buddy said he didn't think he had ever seen a course with so many bunkers (he hit about 20 of them) but they didn't get in my way as much. I look forward to playing again when I'm down there.

This course was recommended to me by a friend. There were great views of the bay on several holes. Overall course was in great shape but the greens really needed some work . Odd clover like stuff growing in several and they could have used a good rolling as many were bumpy. I had a hot deal so price wasn't terrible but paying full price would have been very upsetting. I will give it another chance next time I'm in Destin.

Great course, layout, condition, but cram too many people sometimes.

Baytowne is my favorite course in the greater Destin area. It is challenging, well designed and a real joy to play. My hope is that the rumors that Baytowne will be substantially eliminated due to the developers desire to build more condos are not true. Baytowne is a real gem and should remain a great golf course!

Great course with some challenging holes. Friendly and frequent cart service during the round. Starter was super nice. Greens were somewhat inconsistent in terms of speed but true / no funky breaks. My only complaint was on hole #18 …… all the fairway sprinklers were on while we were playing (5:00 in the afternoon). No one monitoring. The fairway was completely soaked and muddy ….. and we needed to move our balls to avoid the intense sprinklers. A disappointing way to end a nice round.

Played Baytowne as a foursome at a 7:30am tee time. Absolutely beautiful course, well maintained and perfect weather! 2 groups behind us with zero issues, cart girls present to provide beverages. Would ABSOLUTELY play again!!!!

Green were good speed Take time to enjoy the scenery only downside is irons only on driving range

The golf course was in great condition and nice layout .

I was disappointed in the amenities, club house and rest areas are dated and some simple paint and polish would fix it. Rentals are any old clubs they have and not a complete set.

Bottom line good course with good value

Awesome course, friendly, supportive staff. Excellent layout with challenging but fair holes; risk/reward, lots of water, variety of doglegs, but with wide fairways and choices. Have played here several times over the years and always enjoy. Downside this spring 2026, green are in horrible condition: bumpy, weedy, globs of poia or some other invasive grass. And staff needs to enforce divot repair and raked bunkers. Played in the afternoon and all bunkers shots required pre-raking, and any putt outside of 3-4 feet bounced its way to the hole. Great track; fix the greens, enforce course repair etiquette.

Great course conditions. Interesting, but not impossible, layout. Very friendly staff. Fast play - 3.5 hours.

Courteous staff. Very nice challenging course. Lots of doglegs. Tees, fairways greens all very good condition. I’ll play it again.

Really well laid out and a very enjoyable course. As everyone else has said, very slow greens, but in great shape.

Haven’t played here in a few years and this course needs help quickly. Range grass is garbage. Greens have alot of weeds/poa in them. GPS kept saying we were 15 minutes behind pace and we might have to skip a hole as we waited 5 minutes on the tee box for the group in front of us.

Might be worth $50 a round not the $125-135 they are charging.
