The Links Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. The architect, Tom Jackson, routed five holes along the bay and then wound the course inland across rolling undulations. In order to prevail against the blustery Gulf Coast winds, accuracy and proper club selection are essential, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. In addition to being right along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the Baytowne Marina serves as a backdrop to the course, providing even more stunning views of the Emerald Coast. Of the four championship golf courses that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers, the Links is one of the original two and also one of the most popular. The layout offers a unique links experience that all skill levels can enjoy, especially since it features four different sets of tees.

Most holes have water. Wind was brutal.

The course was in great shape, beautiful greens. Lots of water around the holes required accuracy off the tee. The wind off the big water was absolutely brutal -3 clubs. Not sure why a nice course would allow a five some but they did so play came to screeching halt when we caught up to them on the back nine.

Beautiful views of the bay. Nice design with choice of tee boxes.

Never played the course before. It's spreadout and you have to cross streets with traffic. Got lost between 12 and 13. Signage should be provided to 13 tee box from 12 green. It was frustrating and lost 5-10 minutes on the round. Other than that the course is fantastic and my wife and I played it on a windy day and off season as far as the grass growing to be cut.

Most fun course in sandestin

This course is the most scenic on the three available courses here. It has the most potential to be fantastic of the three. It need several modestly priced improvements. Move the pro shop to the lower lever and include the snack shop. Improve the practice facility. And tune up the bunkers.

For winter the conditions are ok.

Prettiest of the 3 public courses in Sandestin

Course is the prettiest of the Sandestin public courses. Spectacular bay views on 5 of the 18 holes. Well-maintained. Greens especially good--better than I've seen them before. Lots of ponds/lakes/water hazard. Better be able to hit it pretty straight! Fun course to play.

Green fairways

The dormant Bermuda grass is waking up early at the Links. Played several other courses in the area and all of them were dormant brown. Greens were a little slow (soft) and hard to read. Fun course and layout.
