Raven at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Courteous staff. Very nice challenging course. Lots of doglegs. Tees, fairways greens all very good condition. I’ll play it again.

Haven’t played here in a few years and this course needs help quickly. Range grass is garbage. Greens have alot of weeds/poa in them. GPS kept saying we were 15 minutes behind pace and we might have to skip a hole as we waited 5 minutes on the tee box for the group in front of us.

Might be worth $50 a round not the $125-135 they are charging.

Traveling across the country for beautiful golf and a good time with my dad. Only to pay hundreds of dollars to be hot, hungry and dehydrated. We were not informed at the start of our 3pm tee time that EVERYTHING off the course would be closed before we hit the turn. There was no beverage cart. So for 18 holes we had only the drinks we started the round with. If we had been told this would be the case, we wouldve been happy to stock up before we hit the course. Instead we were told we could get things on holes 10 and 13. Which was not the case. For such an expensive course it felt bottom of the barrel experience wise.

Beautiful greens and fairway, that are hard to enjoy when you're thirsty and hungry. Would've loved to give a 5 star considering the birdies I hit. But overall we left disappointed, starving and out $300.

1st time playing the Raven and could not have been more pleased. Fairways and greens were in great shape, pace of play was acceptable with little delays. Played another course yesterday at the same rate and this was head and shoulders above the other. Definitely worth the price

Personally I would love it if a golf course let you know ahead of time that their greens would be covered in Fertilizer. Really affected putting but we lived with it. Still a great place to play but you better like water and have the ability to avoid it.

Great layout. One of my favorites in the area. Early tee time but range not open under 8am. Also greens covered in sand. Not sure what the reasoning is but they rolled ok. Certainly expected better though for the price. May be a better value at twilight rate. We had a great time and played on four hours.

The course is very fair and playable. The greens were just ok.

In general a good course. But getting a bit beat up. In particular, cart paths are a mess. Need a lot of work, repait and repaving. Men's room in the pro shop was mostly out of service. This is not a cheap muni course... should be kept up to date and we'll maintained.!

Tee makers had not been moved for t least a week. We hit almost all of our tee shots outside the teeing area. Bunkers were horrible. They had not been groomed for several days. I played both the Links and the Raven in past few days and both were the same.

Best course on beach. Great lay out, staff and conditions. A fair price and good value.

This is the best of the best with right amount of sandtraps. Everything is perfect.

Really enjoyed playing the Raven again. course conditions were good. The only thing that needs attention is their cart paths which are in some instances are bad. Best to get to the fairway as soon as possible, but it doesn’t really take away from the enjoyablity of the course itself.

Very windy when we played - may have to try it again when we come back to the area.
