Still in great shape!
Always enjoy playing there. Greens were running smooth, but not as fast as previously ( which was a relief on downhill putts). We’ll be back.
Renovations look good!
It's been a few years since I visited, as I pay attention to the weather patterns, and the Hurricanes and rainy seasons of the past 3 years has hurt many local courses. I assumed with where the course is located, it would be affected. So I was happy to hear that they had done a 4 million dollar renovation since my last visit.
The fairways were the greenest I've played this month, most courses are yellowed fairways and rough due to the cold Florida winter, but I had far less tight lies and far m9re green grass to hit from. The greens are immaculate, with my only recommendation to play for more rollout on approaches due to new greens being a little hard still.
I know that this course has complaints about slow play, but our tee time was 7:16am, and we had no problems playing 18 in just under 3hrs.
I look forward to playing again soon. Personally this course is the best RV Park Golf course in the state.
Good course, Bad pace of play
This course is in decent shape. However the pace of play is getting worse. The do not have a regular Marshall is goes around to keep pace of play moving. A lot of it is because they over book the tee sheet for the residents there. Other than that, course is good.
Pleasantly surprised
Researched courses in this area to meet up with a friend to play. I was pleasantly surprised on how good and fair the course was. Greens were in great shape and the fairways were decent. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area.
Good course but terrible pace of play-almost a 5 hour round
I play this course at least 2-3 times a month and it's biggest problem is pace of play. They either overbook the tee sheet with the residents to play and pushes the regular tee times. Also, the don't have a regular Marshall that goes around the course. They really need that especially during snowbird season. It was 4 mins short of a 5 hour round. Other than that, good course... It could be great.
It is great
Always a great place to play especially the last 2 years. The changes to the course have been fantastic!! Come to Florida every winter for a couple months and always play the GREAT OUTDOORS!
Great value
Course greens and most fairways immaculate. Some patches in parts of fairways but overall very good. Greens were firm, fast, and true. Played in about 3:45 which was great as we still waited on the group in front of us most holes.
Great course and greens!
Amazing greens since the renovation. Great layout, fun.
Only issue I have with GO is the fact that they make you share carts with strangers. I don't mind as much as some guys do but it's a policy in need of change. 22 carts in the barn, 1:06 tee time, can't get an extra cart?
Phenomenal golf course
Absolutely one of the best tracks in Brevard county
Everything about this course is premium
OK course, ridiculous waiting time to start.
Course is fun to play when you finally get to play. As a non resident player I waited for more than 2 hours past my starting time only to be told my name wasn't on the starting list, although I checked with the pro shop 45 minutes early and with the starter 30 minutes early. Dozens of resident players arrived way after me and were started almost immediately.,
Over booked, very slow pace.
I played Wednesday. We started 30 minutes late which was not a big deal. It’s just we had to wait at every tee. W had three groups on every hole and 4 on another. The course was great other than that. The greens are in great shape(fast).
Too Crowded
Course was over booked. Nearly a 1 hour delay in booked tee time. Overhead employees discussing more MGA players showing up than had tee times. I should have considered getting a Golfnow Hot Deal on the 1st nice weather day too good to be true.
Fun course slow play
This was a fun course in pretty fair shape. Unfortunately, they were behind so we waited 45 minutes for our tee time. Then the pace of play was brutal. Took 2.5 hours for the front nine. However , the back nine opened up and we breezed though in an hour and a half thus finishing before sunset. We got a good deal on golf now. I’d hate to pay full rate for this .
