About Trump National Doral Miami
Located nearly adjacent to Miami International Airport (MIA), this resort has seen considerable investment under the current ownership of Trump Golf, including the renovation of the Blue Monster, Golden Palm and Red Tiger golf courses by architect Gil Hanse. The best of the best!
The best of the best!
I live in Florida and have played a lot of the Florida courses but I will tell you that playing the Golden Palm and the Silver Fox over these last two days has been pure bliss!
Golf now provided wonderful pricing and truly the two courses could not have been in more perfect shape!
Perfect teeboxes, perfect fairways, perfect greens, and playing these courses makes you feel like you are playing at the masters they are so beautifully and well manicured!
The golden palm has the hardest greens, the silver fox is narrow and challenging because of that, the red tiger has small greens that are elevated, and the blue monster is long and wide open!
Blue Not Always For You
Doral has always been known for its Blue Monster. However, it’s really not for every player. The Red gives you a better option. Not overly long but every hole has its own set of challenges. I’m a plus 1 handicap that averages 275 off the tee and I thoroughly enjoyed this course. The greens were absolutely fantastic and I used every club in the bag…which is a huge enjoyment factor for me. The staff from valet to starter to shop to restaurant were very friendly and helpful. If I looked like I wasn’t sure where to go someone would ask if they could help. A wonderful experience and can’t wait to be back in the fall.
Steveshosh
Has a great day at the Rex Tiger course. Not very long but challenging for the average golfer..Cant wait to play the Blue Monster one day
Accommodating
I booked on Golf Now and the date changed from what I selected(happening all week with Golf Now) and I should have confirmed but showed up at the Course that day after my tee time. The gentleman in the pro shop was very understanding and accommodating and got me out even at the price I booked the previous day. The Course was in fantastic condition and I played 18 holes in 2 hours on the Red Tiger Course. What a great complex!!
Good course but too expensive.
Course was in very good shape, lots of water on Red Tiger making it a big narrow at times. Doral charges $32 for valet parking!?! No discount for golfers.
Fantastic
Beautiful, challenging, friendly... it kicked my butt. But I loved every minute of it.

I spent days reading reviews on golf now, on the website, on google for each course at this location and decided to play Silver Fox! I was supposed to be paired with 3 others but since I showed up early to hot the range and putt around, they let me go out 15mins early alone! There was a 2some a few holes ahead of me, of which I eventually caught but they moved right along while I took my team enjoying every hole. Greens were perfect, I played the golds and all the tee box shots were different, a nice island green on 7 and other memorable holes will have you wanting to come back for another round. I was on fire with the new SIM club rentals, since i use them back home, i ended shooting 72 after a couple good looks at 2 eagles. It's $50 for rentals after 1pm FYI, I had an 11am tee but the golf pro was nice enough to give me the $50 rate since I was staying at another Trump location. Cart girl came to me 4 times and I was happy with that as well. I took an Uber here so i did not experience the parking fee others have commented about. I would 100% recommend playing here over anywhere in the Doral area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Doral was amazing
This course was incredible, greens fast, fairways perfectly groom, real test for your game. Loved it, we play again
Silver Award for The Fox
Expected more from a Trump course however , these are old and just the typical resort style courses. The condition was excellent and was fun to play but lacked any stand out holes except for the Par 3 island to remember. Worth a hit all the same.
