Great day!
We had a great day, nice weather, nice layout and great service. The place is ultra clean and service just great. I would play there more often if it was owned by someone else. One thing is sure the people who run this place are doing a fantastic job!
Slow round
My 2nd time at Doral. Both times there should have been other players in my group but both times had to play alone. Few groups before me there were 6 guys who all played. You can imagine the pace and waiting for every shot. Propably my last time there.
Very Good golf course
Very good golf course, narrow fairways and good layout! However if you are going to spend the money you might as well play Doral Red Tiger which is a lot more fun! Specially if you can hit bombs!
One of the funnest golf courses I have played!
You can shave 5-10 shots the second time you play. Very strategic and fun! Tough greens. A lot of fun I recommend it 100%
Good track but not worth the fee
Good track but it’s not worth the outrageous fee charged for this course. No Marshalls on the course to regulate play so everyone plays as slow as they want - probably because they feel like they shouldn’t be rushed because of the fee. Easily a 5 hour round on a course that shouldn’t take more than 4.
GREAT DAY AT THE BEST COURSE
Not worth it
I felt the layout and conditions were very average. Starter was rude and discombobulated. Sent off the rest of my group 10 minutes early. Course had a ridiculous number of divots and pick marks. Layout felt like a muni, holes together, bad signage, inconvenient cart paths and auto cart stopping. 16 bucks for valet and the club service afterwards was slow. Go someplace else.
First time trump - gold
Played trump gold palms. Course in one great shape and greens rolling fast. Would recommend to all
Good not great
Great layout. Super tough. Greens roll great. Carts are outdated. Starter not aware of flow. Pace of play is loooooonnnggggg
Great course bad staff
Great course layout , lots of water but sometimes you had the distractions of other golf carts that were playing the other courses nearby.
The real issue was the staff , it was awful.
I asked directions to the pro shop , the guy barely paid attention to me.
Same thing at the pro shop , the guy gave me bad directions to the carts and to the driving range .
There was no starter managing tee offs , I just miraculously found red tigers #1 tee box and teed off.
The greens had a lot of pitch marks.
I still enjoyed the round but the beginning wasn’t good , mainly because of the staff .
Always Incredible
This is my favorite course in all of Miami. The course conditions at Trump Doral are always immaculate and the staff is incredible. The only thing that could be improved is the parking. Valet is $20, but worth the price. Self park will also run you around $20 and it's a far walk with clubs when it's hot out. When you're paying to golf, buying things in the pro shop, and eating in the restaurant, $20 to self park is a little pricey. Other than the parking situation, everything else about this place is perfect. It's my golf heaven.
Great day for golf!
I played the course because I have heard of Doral from watching PGA tournaments from past years. Now the Trump National Doral, it was an amazing place. Beautifully done on the outside and inside, the clubhouse is the nicest I have seen, Fountains, garden walks to the course, and great customer service were just some of the special features I enjoyed. The course is in amazing shape with the best greens I have seen on my golf vacation. With the Golf Now rate, it is an amazing bargain for a spectacular facility!
Blue Monster Course Review
If the weather was as good in NJ as it is in Florida, I would have rather played a course in NJ everyday over the Blue Monster. Definitely, not worth the money. I paid about the same as you would to play Pebble Beach and that was a fantastic course. But hey, a day in the sun on a decent course always beats a cold day in the north without golf!
Don’t go!
You arrive and you must valet your car and drop off your clubs. They instruct you where to check in and tell you they will bring your clubs down on a trolly. We arrived early to hit balls. 1st arrives, no clubs, second cart arrives, my husbands clubs arrive. We had to tell them to go back and find my clubs. 3rd trolley down my clubs arrive but by now it is to late to hit balls.
On the second hole is started to sprinkle. By the end of the 3rd hole it was torrential rain and we went to take cover. The forecast was 25% We finally made a dash for the club house cuz we were already soaked. Forecast changed and now shows rain all day. So in the pro shop they said don’t give rain checks to anyone and the don’t give refunds to GolfNow. They told me I had to call golf now and they would verify the course was unplayable when GolfNow calls them. After 15 minutes on hold for GolfNow rep they answered and tried to call the course. GolfNow advised me Doral has blocked their number so he couldn’t get through but they would turn this over to someone else to handle and I should hear from them in 3 or 4 days.
