Jekyll Island

We enjoyed a leisurely round on a resort course. Many tee boxes and friendly fairways. A nice course at a fair rate.

On Pine Lakes. Greens pure and nice fair pace. Bermuda fairways always a bit different. Not great lies but that’s the game. Bunkers outstanding. Fairly open front, back a bit narrower. 4 hour change round with walkers in front.. Wonderful facility with ample practice areas. Good bang for the buck this time of year. Monster gator on nine near lakes edge and my ball. Sound asleep with one eye open, he told me play away.

Everything was great except fairways. Very thin not much grass. Traps were much better than before. Greens were good. Practice area beat up 19th hole was great and friendly

I am spending a month on St. Simons Island and have enjoyed playing all three of the courses. We invited a single golfer to join us which made for a great round of golf. Each time we have seen deer, alligators, turtles and beautiful birds to add interest as we progressed around the course.

Only able to play 11 holes as a front came through with more wind and rain. Folks in pro shop friendly and helpful. Greens in good shape, fairways were decent for this time of year. Rough was very thin and bare in a lot of places as Bermuda was dormant. Course had some good holes but overall not a lot of character. Worth playing if you don’t pay too much.

Course very wet - I understand this is normal. & would not plan again. Golf Now has over charge me Amx card $2.64 4 times. please correct.

The facility is great, good food and friendly staff.

Nice layout with numerous tee options for men and women. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
