About Jekyll Island
Jekyll Island is a state park and resort community situated on this island among the Golden Isles on the Georgia coast. It is notable to golfers in that it has 63 holes of publicly accessible golf and a collection of partner hotels and beachfront resorts. Golf here dates back to 1926 with the 9-hole Ocean Dunes course, designed by Walter Travis. Three additional 18-hole courses have since been added to the Jekyll Island Golf Club. Accommodations range from luxury resorts to smaller hotels. Options include the Beachview Club Hotel, Jekyll Ocean Club and Jekyll Island Club Resort. Very disappointed in the condition of the course Pine Lakes. No grass on fairways only weeds. Greens weren’t great either. Played the course main times in the past 10 years and that is the worst I have seen it.
Bag guys need lessons on how to put golf bags on a power cart

Rude pro shop staff and horrific conditions
Greeted by a rude and Un accommodating pro shop staff who claimed we didn’t book for the number of players we had. We then waited for 20 minutes after our tee time to tee off on the first. 5 hour round. Greens were some of the worst I’ve ever seen.

fairway conditions were deplorable and difficult to find any grass to move your ball to. greens were in good condition. overall, the course lacked maintenance and consistency in conditions. very disappointing.

The course was nice! We bought the bug spray which helped keep them away. We played 9 at 3:30 in afternoon. Was a perfect day. We saw lots of wildlife!

Fun but packed
Beautiful course just crowded as can be. High school team I think pushed other golfers on oleander. Still had a blast thanks Jekyll see you again soon
