About Jekyll Island
Jekyll Island is a state park and resort community situated on this island among the Golden Isles on the Georgia coast. It is notable to golfers in that it has 63 holes of publicly accessible golf and a collection of partner hotels and beachfront resorts. Golf here dates back to 1926 with the 9-hole Ocean Dunes course, designed by Walter Travis. Three additional 18-hole courses have since been added to the Jekyll Island Golf Club. Accommodations range from luxury resorts to smaller hotels. Options include the Beachview Club Hotel, Jekyll Ocean Club and Jekyll Island Club Resort. Nice scenery
Nice course layout and decent winter condition. Greens were lightning fast given time of year so putting was tougher than normal. Great tree lines surrounding holes

Course is player friendly i.e. rather wide open fairways for tee shots, greens were moderatly fast and bunkers were mostly consistent! I, personally had my best round ever in 22 yrs of playimg the game! ( started playimg at age 64) , so my evaluation is good as wood be expected!

Nice course overall
Played Indian Mound for the first time yesterday. Was looking for a forgiving, wide- open course where I would not lose many ball. Liked that water did not come into play onmany holes and the sand could be avoided on most holes. Recommend playing from the forward tees if is your first time. Had an excellent overall experience. The price for riding 18 went from $70 to $50 after noon, and the course was not overly busy. Would definitely play IM again!
