Big Disappointment
This course was on of THE worst conditioned golf course I have ever played. The staff was very unfriendly.
Staff was awesome, although the cart guy failed to secure the clubs before sending us off. Womp. Fairways were a little high. Could lose a ball in the fairway on some holes. With that, there is no forgiveness if you’re just an average joe.. who happens to slice or hook occasionally. You won’t find your ball. If you like slow, flat greens this is for you. Price was a little steep for what you get. The course was beautiful, and while the weather was just decent (just a touch warmer than we’d like), we had a blast!
Good State Park with high rough
The rough was way too high. Slowed down play looking for balls just out of the fairway. Vacation players beware.
Overall fairways were nice.
Greens were slow and bumpy. No rakes in bunkers. Pace of play was superb. Fairways were nice.
Wonderful lay out
A wonderful layout that challenges all aspects of the game.
1st time out
Played Pine Lakes in June. The greens had been aerated and sanded. Greens were soft and easy to stick an approach. Fairways and tee boxes were perfect. The staff was great! Supper friendly and helpful! I took my daughter (15). It was only her 4 time on a course. We played mid day and due to the heat it was not crowded. We had a great time! The staff really made us feel welcome!
Overall a quality day
Course was in solid shape. Never really get much from the staff there, but knowing the course and where to go I guess it doesn’t really matter. Pine lakes is definitely the favorite for me at out of the three courses they have to offer. Not much you could complain about with the course. Fairways were solid and greens for the most part were top notch, ball rolling very well, except 1 or 2 that could use a little work but definitely will play again
