Lake Richard B. Russell at Arrowhead Pointe State Park

Absolutely the best Greens in Georgia! I don't know what hybrid grass is used for these greens but every Club Corp golf course in Georgia should convert to these greens! Great Staff at this and all other Georgia State Park Golf Courses

Fairways and greens were in great condition, and the weather could have not been any better. Looking forward to going back soon.

This course is the most difficult and challenging golf course I have ever played! This is also the best condition golf course I have ever played in my 60 years of playing golf! It is certainly a "golf knowledge" course that should not be attempted by the novice golfer! This course should be a USGA tournament course!! Holiday golfers should play the most forward tee boxes! The distances on the scorecard are understated because of the elevation from the tee boxes add 400 yards to the course length! Virtually every hole is played "up-hill"!

Have played this course at least a dozen times in the past and is one of my favorites both for the interesting layout and the sheer beauty of the various holes around the lake. Course is challenging but not brutally difficult, and a lot of the holes are fun to play. Ran into some congestion early in the back 9 where 3 large groups kind of bogged the pace of play down rest of the way, but normally this course is not too bad for pace of play. I drive over 80 miles to play this course a couple of times each year and always look forward to the sheer beauty of the property and the very good course conditions.

This was a very fun course to play! We had a group of four and finished the front nine in about 2 and a half hrs. This was a challenging course with a lot of water. Overall we had a great time and the views from the course looking out over lake Russell was picture worthy. We played a little later in the day with very few other people playing the course. The greens and fairways where very well kept and there is honestly nothing bad I have to say about this course.

The views are unbelievable on the back 9. The course is in tremendous shape. The cart paths are in great shape as well. We will be back. V reat staff as well!

It’s so worth the drive to play this course! I’ve played this course several times and I absolutely love the challenging layout, not to mention the beautiful holes along the lake. One of the best public courses to play in Georgia!
