Played well after playing this course 37yrs again on my Honeymoon. Amazing the course is in great shape as was 37yrs ago

Beautiful course worth experiencing. Conditions good but not great. Very slow pace of play. Waited all day on almost every hole.

Mauna Kea lived up to its reputation as a tough, challenging, but spectacular golf course. Ocean holes were beautiful. It's in immaculate shape. It just ain't easy. But it's worth it, especially with a Golf Now Hot Deal! But take extra balls, you'll need 'em.

The course is in great shape always. The staff is personable. Bring your A game or you’ll be eaten alive. Every green is elevated and the greens are quite fast. Unfortunately, the pace of play is on the slow side, but that would be expected on such a popular course. It’s not cheap either, so dedicate and full day and patience to match.

Playing proper tees will determine your enjoyment of the round. Course conditions were great

I had the privilege of playing where Jack and Arnie back in the day played some skins games I am told.

The conditions of the course the challenge and layout were worth the price of admission.

I would absolutely play here again as a treat!

Disappointed on amenities...No beverage or snack cart. Apparently it was down. I ran out of water on the 13th. Not happy!

A beautiful course. Wide fairways. Lots of bunkers. Played 2 days in a row. 1st day played from the "Resort" tees. The 2nd day played from the "composite" tees. Did better on the par 4s and 5s but worse on the par 3s. The elevated greens are tough from either tee box and if your approach is on the wrong part of the green forget getting a par. I'd recommend if you're playing for the 1st time consider moving up a box.
