Golf vacation at the Waikaloa Village GC
Great friendly & helpful staff; Course is great. Cou rse snack truck, AWESOME!!
Great golf experience
The course was in good condition and finished in 4 hours. Great views
Nice course, generally well maintained
Course is in best shape we’ve seen in the 15+ years we’ve been coming here. Only complaint - some of the pins appeared to have been in the same spot for too many days. Some of the hole edges were broken down and raggedy.
Always a first class experience
We have been playing here for the past 20+ years and it continued to improve every year. Cal and Kevin are excellent “cart” guys and we appreciate their assistance and greetings on arrival and departure. The course was in great shape. Thanks to all who prepared the course.
Gorgeous
Had an excellent time playing this course the fairways were manicured greens were rolling true. Played as a single and was paired with a young fella from Oregon who averaged a 300 yard drives off the box, it was fun to watch him hit the ball extremely far. However I was able to hold my own on the front 9 shooting 39 he shot a 40 we were neck and neck then the second 9 came, and a whole lot of bogies never the the less I enjoyed my round and would definitely play it again. I got a cool deal on tee off.com
Where the locals play!
Beautiful course, without breaking the bank!! Pace of play was ridiculously fast. Barely took over 3 hours!! Will definitely play again!
Don't pass this course up!
Aloha! The village course was fantastic. First I saved money by booking on GN. Then if you stay next to the course, more money saved. The staff was fantastic. Warm welcome, helped get on. One even helped me to get to my condo after the round. Got me to come back because of that. Never rained on me and the course does challenge you with some wind, good tricky greens and rough that makes you hit it right. Just to let you know, the bunkers have no sand, probably because of wind. They're filled with small pebble rock. Dinged up my sand wedge. Just made not land in them. Totally worth the money as it is cheaper than the beach/resort courses. I played with a gentleman who said the village course is in way better shape than a couple courses on the beach. It's only 5-10 minutes from beach. You gotta go braddah!
Wonderful mountain course
This is the second time we’ve played this course and it’s really a nice course! The restaurant is very good and the staff exceedingly friendly. Pro shop is well stocked and very reasonable, especially for Hawai’i! Nice and breezy with beautiful views of the ocean below. About a 50 minute drive north of Kona. Well worth it.
Nice day at an exceptional course.
Corse in good shape, some challenge, excellent day at the golf course.
