Love this island.
We play this track every year, and are never disappointed. Great layout, well maintained and terrific topography.

This course was probably in the best condition I’ve played since I’ve been going there . Fairways, tee boxes and greens wet all in excellent shape.
Gr8 Tees
Better tee box turf than 90% of tees you will experience. Such a pleasure to tee one up! Thank you grounds staff and management.
Fairays and tee boxes excellent
Course was in great shape considering all the rain in the area the past 2 weeks. Great layout with excellent fairays and tee boxes
Best Course in this area.
Everything was great. Fairways, greens, tee boxes. Awesome venue. I play here a lot as a local. If you’re in the area and looking to play a great course this is the place.
Awesome state course!

Always great. Great course, great staff. I try and play other courses. But I always come back here. Love it.
june vacation
The course proved to be exactly like I had been told. Long and tough. The tees, fairways and greens were all in very good condition. It had larger tee boxes and greens than most Ky courses I have played and they were all in excellent condition, I loved the large greens even though I did not put well. The only drawback, if there was one, was it was 96 degrees with a heat index over 100 degrees. All of the staff we met were very friendly and made our experience awesome.
BEAUTIFUL
The course was in top shelf shape, pace of play was rapid, never waited on a shot.
Burnside Island, everything a golfer needs
General Burnside Island has everything from public parks and picnic areas, to boat ramps and a public pool, but we keeps me coming back is the golf course. I live in the area so I might be a little biased, but I’ve played golf all around the country and I can say without a doubt that Burnside’s golf course is all around one of the best. With good prices and a great staff, from the moment you step into the club house you’re treated like family, I’m not sure if it’s just the southern hospitality, or if they are just amazing people. The manager, Mr. Lynn, is incredibly hospitable, Tonya always has a smile on her face and Steve could fix your swing in a jiffy, if he has the time of course. With an excellent greenskeeping staff the course ALWAYS looks great! Burnside is the perfect course for any golfer at any level, it offers just enough challenge to be tested, and it’s fun enough not to have play like you’re on the tour! I would recommend this course to everyone!
