Good golf experience
The course was in really good shape with some great designs on many holes. Visually the holes played as could be seen off the tee. Any holes with blind tee shots opened up and the stick on the fairway provided an accurate target. The gps gave an accurate rendition of each hole layout. Greens had some undulation making for some interesting putts on some holes.
Nice round
The course is an above avg public course as expected to be for golf village. Nice club house and grill. Friendly staff. Reasonable pricing. 5 some though slowed the pace of play and no offer to let through. Not expected on such course. We seem to have these special groups on some clubs which can grind play to a crawl and other groups who are courteous and offer speedy pass through
Great condition
The course was in great shape. Nice fairways, really enjoyed our round.
A Very Good Golfing Experience
A friendly gentleman at the desk in the Pro Shop! Helpful, informative and advised us (we had a foursome) that they did not have a driving range but had a net near the putting green where we could loosen up before our round. It was a perfect way to get our bones ready for the round. Well kept putting green and the course is also well maintained. A challenging course but not to the degree of some other courses in the area, thank God! Our only concern was a twosome (I don't understand why they don't put twosomes together) behind us who told the ranger we were holding them up. We were following another twosome who was behind a couple of foursomes. We had no problem with that because we understood there was no place to go. However, the ranger suggested that we go back to #1 and play the front nine again as we approached #10. We told him we wanted to play the course as it was designed to be played. From that point forward, he seemed to resent the fact we didn't do as he suggested and watched us closely from various viewing points till we finished. I have done a lot of ranger work and also served as a starter. A person with this attitude can give your course a bad name if the conduct isn't corrected. I'm hoping this was an isolated incident and we do intend to return to the course.
Course will challenge you
Very undulating topography, with some very scenic holes. Course was in good condition. Grill was a bit pricey I thought
A must play while in Branson, MO
I would not call this an easy course but a fun course to play. Water comes into play on several holes with some ups and downs and curves in the fairways along the way. After playing the course once you have a little better idea where to try to place your ball on the course, if you should have the good fortune of getting to play at least twice while visiting Branson. We have played this course in the past and the people there have always been very friendly and Pointe Royal has a very nice clubhouse. I would recommend this course to anyone loving to play and would like a somewhat challenging course.
Great for seniors
I played with another couple. We are all in the 10 to 15 handicap range. It provided us with plenty of challenges. The greens were true and moderately fast. The tee boxes could use some work. The card recommends playing the blue tees in our skill range but some of the tee shots are not doable unless you still hit the ball 240 yards so play the whites and enjoy it.
Great Golf Course
This is a beautiful golf course with plenty of challenging holes and great scenery
Fun course to play
course conditions were very good and made for an enjoyable round. played with a group of local golfers and felt very welcome. Had a great time.
Good design
First time player was an enjoyable round of golf had lunch service was excellent as well as the course
Great experience.
I booked this course at a very good price on Golfnow. I wasn't expecting a whole lot for the money, but man was I surprised! This is a very nice course with top notch amenities. The staff was very helpful, the carts were very nice and the course is just beautiful and peaceful! I really enjoyed myself! I will plan to play this course again when I return to Branson.
Hilly and scenic
A shot placement course with lots of challenges. One of the nicer courses in Branson
The greens were fast and undulating
Fun time, pace of play was good. Would play the course again.
Great op
A lot of work is being done on the course with the San and also the tea boxes but the value for the money was great even greater

Very challanging greens..Lovely course with rolling fairways ..some greens were multi level but in very well groomed..We'll be back!!
Great value
Course was in good shape they were redoing sand traps when we played greens were very good
Tight course, but fair, with some blind tee shots and elevations changes.
Important to hit the correct side of many fairways to setup the second shot. And this is a tight course. Not a long course, or difficult if you hit the fairways.
Whenever possible, check out the greens before you hit. Some big tiers and sweeping breaks. Overall, the greens are probably the toughest part of the course.
well worth the money
fall play. weather was mid 60's and sunny. had great time. course is in very good shape. recommend.
Pointe Royale in the Fall... Excellent!
First off, these comments are from a 85-90 stroke golfer. Pointe Royale is challenging in that you need to control your ball. Using a shorter, more controllable club is the answer for most of these holes. The fairways are somewhat narrow and several slope off to one side or another putting your drive off in the tall grass regardless of what you do.
It was the first of October and the course was in great shape. Sand was hard in some areas but in general was very playable. Greens were moderatlly sloped and presented a challenge on 1/3 of the holes.
I shot a high 90 but the day was not valued on the score. The scenery and views from the tees were worth the course difficulty. This is a 4-5 star course and the fall colors made it a GREAT DAY!
Enjoyable & Reasonable
Very challenging. One of the Top Courses in Branson.
