Lake Las Vegas
About Lake Las Vegas
Since the 2014 reopening of Reflection Bay golf course, this Henderson hotspot 20 miles from the Strip is an option for golfers. Original architect Jack Nicklaus returned to tweak a few things, removing bunkers and reshaping or moving others. The seventh green -- one of 18 now covered with T1 bentgrass -- was also extended closer to the edge of Lake Las Vegas. Golfers can pad their loyalty reward accounts by choosing the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa or the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa. The condominium suites of the Aston MonteLago Village Resort, a Tuscan-inspired village with a marina, shops and water sports, will serve a foursome or family needing more space and privacy. Between the three properties, there’s multiple restaurants, pools, spas, a beach on the lake at the Westin and a bonus – access to nearby SouthShore Country Club, a private Nicklaus design.Facts

The greens were a bit beat up, which can be expected in January. Could be the only complaint though. Course layout was fantastic. Plenty of tricky holes that are scoreable if played correctly. So many signature holes. Extremely fun course layout. Message chair in front of the locker room was a nice bonus! Course was even running a “hit the green” promotion to get shop credit. Had a blast, can’t wait to come back.
Great view, conditions were very nice. Pace of play was faster than most courses I've played
The course.has lots of beautiful views. I can see why people takes selfie. The course is not an easy course but it can be done. The greens are very challenging. They don't look fast but they are. It looks like carpet and the ball can roll. You can roll the ball 5-6 ft past the hole if your not careful. Good players can make the ball stop but moderate players will have trouble with the ball staying on the greens. This course is for good players that likes the challenge and for the beginning players, they would rather enjoy the view. I recommend everyone to come play this course. You'll see what I mean.
Great course
Solid course, really great views. If you over fade/hook then this course is for you with all the dogleg rights.
Worth The Money
A bit of a drive from the strip but is well worth it!
Staff were excellent! Food and beverage options and costs were top notch.
Course was in great shape for November. Love all the elevation changes. Great desert mountain course. Only issues are there is no driving range. They just have a large net and hitting off matts. Second was the bunkers were full of gravel/rocks and there weren’t enough rakes around most bunkers. Minor issues in the grand scheme of things.
Great course. Definitely would go back.
Overpriced tried to charge me mora than reservation
Tried to charge more than reservation. Only played 10 holes because group of 18 ahead of us were drunk and taking 29 minutes per home this place is trrrible
Campo seco
Gran campo en diseño, cerca de los hoteles solo que está un poco seco
Great Course and Views.
Course in Excellent shape and Pace of Very Good on a Saturday.
My Top 3 lists in LV
Layout perfect..
Condition Excellent in summer time in LV
I can not wait for a perfect course condition in Nov. Season.
Great Vonditions
This course was in great condition. Fairways are well maintained as are the greens. Plenty of sand traps but there is actually sand in them where many local courses do not. The views alone are worth playing this course for.
Too much sand
The greens were air rated and to much sand put on them. No true putts was not worth the $130.00 go play Boulder City that place was plush and only $60.00.
Golf Great but don't eat here
Great course, good conditions despite summer heat. Staff friendly, newer greens firm still but putting smooth. Fun challenging layout.
Negatives: Food ordered after round . I had to go to bar to get menu since waitress busy chatting with bartender , waived to get her to take order. Took 30 min for food to arrive, it was tasty. When I got bill she had added 18% gratuity to bill then asked me to fill in extra amount?? I said please remove automatic gratuity and she said its management policy and refused to remove it. Wow!
The course need a Marshal
Our round took 5.5 hours. The groups ahead of us were slow and playing from the wrong tees. The course needs a Marshal to diplomatically handle these issues and speed play, at least to their standards, which appear to be 4.5 to 4.75 hours.
Excellent value for locals
$75 to play in the summer AM in 80 degrees and was done in 3 hours. Course was in outstanding condition. Fairways were cut short, tee boxes were cut short and were flat. Amazing views on nearly every hole. Great course design, banked fairways, tricky greens . Bunkers had surprisingly good sand in them. Staff was extremely nice. Greens were firm (new?) and speed was difficult to gauge. Great cart GPS showing distance off tee and slopes of greens. Only suggestion I would have is to add water to the course next to the restrooms - no place to refill bottles.
