Reflection Bay Golf Club

I finally got the chance to play Refection Bay on my latest trip to Las Vegas. It took me a long time to play this course because of the bad reviews. When I am in town I always like to see and play a new course. I called the pro shop and they told me they were in good shape and the course recovered well from the aeration of the greens. The course was in great shape, greens, fairways and tee boxes. Staff was very friendly and the starter sent me out as a single at 6:16am and I was finished in three hours and 15 minutes. Also they had a sale in the pro shop. The pro shop staff actually thanked me for playing the course after the round and was glad I enjoyed the course. Hopefully the conditions remain the same and golfers continue to enjoy Reflection Bay.

The course was a disaster. Every green and t- box was air raided. I never would have played if I would have known that.

they air raided every green and every tea box and halfway down the fairways,, I was not aware of that or I would’ve never played the course. The grains are just bad you can’t pot. The tea boxes were messy just overall bad I love reflection bay I have played the course before when it was in great shape, it is just bad. I would never play it until it got better.

This course is not a $150 course. I was not told that the greens had been punched. I got there as a resident and did not have an NV DL, and they would not take my NV insurance card. So, my rate went from 120 to 150. That’s not the amazing part, she raised my rate, and they knew the greens were unputtable. I played with some members who were shocked that I was not informed. This course has always had issues and is never in playing shape. Due to their deceptive and predatory business practices, I will never give them another opportunity to earn my business. That’s the reputation they have with locals but I thought they had changed boy was I writing. Play there at your own risk. One last thing: the lady in the pro shop was downright rude, as if I should be thankful for playing there.

I love the course player before very nice course, but they air rated every green every T box and part of fairways and it was just miserable playing today. They should give me my money back on the course today. couldn’t make a pot because of the holes in the fairway because of the air raid.

The course is great, the only thing the staff unfriendly and rushing

The price Golfnow advertised wasn’t the same as when I got to the course. Reflection bay said I had to go through Golfnow to cancel and if you’ve tried to talk to a human from Golfnow before you know it’s impossible. Last time using Golfnow

Overpriced, overbooked, no Marshall, 5-½ hour pace of play!!! Then the greens were destroyed. Not worth the money unless you want to roast in the desert sun all day.

Mgmt put way too many people on this course. In conversations with on course personnel this seems to be a common occurrence resulting in a 5 hour round.

Starter on 1 was just not friendly, sorry he has such a stressful job.

Greens were a joke.

Beautiful place to bad it is poorly managed.

Trouble with this course is simply the greens, they look great from a distance but when you putt on them they are so bumpy and slightly sparse. You could hit three identical putts and it would do different things.

The layout was sick, the staff was amazing, the amenities are amazing. They just need to water and seed the greens.

Course was in ok condition, expected more out of a Jack Nicklaus Signature course and more water holes. Not worth the drive from Vegas nor a destination course. Staff were very friendly especially the bartender but was more of a local muni type course with a few beautiful holes but mostly mediocre and not particularly fun. Better off going to Pauite!

The greens were a bit beat up, which can be expected in January. Could be the only complaint though. Course layout was fantastic. Plenty of tricky holes that are scoreable if played correctly. So many signature holes. Extremely fun course layout. Message chair in front of the locker room was a nice bonus! Course was even running a “hit the green” promotion to get shop credit. Had a blast, can’t wait to come back.

The course.has lots of beautiful views. I can see why people takes selfie. The course is not an easy course but it can be done. The greens are very challenging. They don't look fast but they are. It looks like carpet and the ball can roll. You can roll the ball 5-6 ft past the hole if your not careful. Good players can make the ball stop but moderate players will have trouble with the ball staying on the greens. This course is for good players that likes the challenge and for the beginning players, they would rather enjoy the view. I recommend everyone to come play this course. You'll see what I mean.

Solid course, really great views. If you over fade/hook then this course is for you with all the dogleg rights.
