Good Course
Played in December; temperatures in the 40s, so didn't like the weather. The course is very nice, and I enjoyed the layout of the holes. Plan to play again if I'm in Vegas.
Quick pace and enjoyable course
Tough course, but lots of fun. Great customer service and great price. Only downside would be that the holes are very spread out and some long rides to the next hole.
A true Arnie Palmer Signature Course
Annie's hand in designing this course can be seen & felt in the huge undulating greens, the encircling as well as elongated wide- mouth traps & the lush green fairways. A real please to be a part of. Happy hitting!
Tres bien mais le priver wow
J ai jouer les deux terrains et le priver est de loin supperieur mais le public est tres bien
A Chilly Monday, for Vegas
This was a great deal I found Monday morning on what was considered a cold day in Vegas. (50's are not considered cold in Michigan in November) There was hardly anyone on the course which was nice. For the most part the course is in good shape with the exception of a few fairways. It looks like they had issues and had to cut out some of the sod to replace it. In each case it didn't come into play on my tee shot but it could for others depending on what tee box you play from and how far you hit. The greens were in good shape and rolled true.
I would play this course again but I wouldn't pay over $100 for it.
Beautiful course layout
You need to be somewhat accurate, but if you don't slice or hook off the tee, your round should be very enjoyable. The course was in pristine condition, and I was able to play 18 holes in less than 3 hrs as a single even though I was waiting at times. Put this track on your list to play.
Great course
I /we were amazed at the condition wonderful. The greens are fast and their is real sand in the traps, we are going to make it a weekly thing to play.
You will not be unhappy at all cant say enough about this course, played a couple of years ago it has improved 200% in courtesy and playing .
Tee it up and go
The most beautiful course I have ever played
Excellent facility inside and out. You wont find a course more lush and well maintained than this one. Very challenging from the tips with Lots of water. I cant wait to come back again
too suburban
Surrounded by homes. I was expecting more natural beauty, felt as though the golf course was an afterthought. Very challenging but the hazards were so predictable, they verged on being cliche. I expected more from this course. Staff was very accommodating.
Nice Course
Very nice course in good condition. Although it was cart path only the walk really wasn't that bad. Paired us up with another couple and really enjoyed our day. We will return to play again sometime soon; next time in town likely, regards.
Good, But...
Very nice course except we were not advised when booking we would be limited to the cart path. Husband has replacement hip making walking an entire course challenging. Especially when you have to walk back and forth across the entire fairway. This should be advised when making and paying for reservations, which it was not.
Greens were harder due to all the sand and aeration. Due to late watering portions of the course were very wet.
Avoid these and you will experience an enjoyable course. Staff was great!
.
great track
Second time playing a desert course. Had a great time. Looking forward to come back next year.
Over seeding season and greens have been dressed with sand
I have to say the the guys were great to get us out as we were late by 40 mins. We got the heads up, from the cart guys that you might want to get in front of this group. Well as we were ready to tee off the starter person pulled up and Was giving us the gears about beening late. That this tee time was there's and we should play behind the 5 some. Well since we were only a 2 some the group let us go and we never saw them. I see that they let a bunch of groups pass too, many be slow play!!! Starter guy needs to use some common sense.
We played it in 3:40 min on cart path only, because we got to pass two groups. If we were behind the 5 players that could have been 5 hours plus.
If you have a pin lazer bring it, as it will come in handy. Because you may get fooled by the cart gps distances.
I would like to play it in high season to see if I can better my 6 over. With better greens
great course
The course was overseeded recently, so the conditionof the fairways and greens were poor. Still, this course is one of the great ones. Loved it!!!
nice
sister course to siena, nice course, quick greens, slow pace
Arroyo at Red Rock
For starters, $59 for a local is ridiculous for this course. TPC is the same price and it is in pristine condition. Paiute is $10 to $20 cheaper and is simply in a different league than this municipal golf experience.
The practice facility is ratty at best, with most of the grass torn up. The fairways are okay, but just off of the fairways are all beat up and need a lot of work. The greens are just okay, with uneven speeds across the course. They would be well served by making the players watch a "how to fix a ball mark" video before the round.
Overpriced for what you get. There is simply many better options for the money in Las Vegas these days.
Also, the slope is way off. No way this course slopes at 135 from the tees we played.
Course was fun
I really enjoyed my day. Course was in good shape and employees very friendly and accommodating. Guest practice facilities were nowhere near as nice as the membership practice facility. I will definitely play here again.
Ok but slow
Slow play ahead of us ruined the round for our party and others. Everything else ok.
Wide fairways help to get game going on a positive note.
Pro shop and grill staff were very nice and helpful. The starter must have been new because he didn't know any pin placement information. ( We soon figured out that it was red=front, yellow=middle, and blue=back,) Overall it was a good time playing a very well conditioned course.
wife had a great birthday/beautiful course
went to vegas for wife birthday, she and I had a great golf experience, the course was in great condition (Arnold Palmer) .greens were smooth and not to fast , I found a few fairway bunkers but not to tuff to get out ,we had fun
