Arroyo Course in August 2014
Excellent course, great condition. Challenging and fun, will definitely play again.
Fun run
Myself and playing partners had a very nice time. I'm thankful for being able to use GolfNow - definitely helped with the green fees.
Beautiful
The course is in a beautiful area and is in excellent condition. The views are magnificent and it is well worth going the extra few miles to play this golf course.
Good value for price
Good course for intermediate level golfers. Single digit handicap or long bombers will find this course fairly easy. Shot 3 over playing off black tees on first visit. Since Las Vegas air is thin and hot, balls were traveling 1-1.5 clubs longer.
Greens were slower than expected. Fairways were in good condition. Some bunkers were almost barren and desperately needing sand. Pace of play was very bad on the Saturday we played.
Staff was super friendly and professional. Facilities were very nice practice range. Carts had no GPS. For the price and facilities, I would come back.
Good Las Vegas for a fair price
Overall fairly happy with course. Staff was very nice and friendly. Practice range is well maintained with staff on hand to notify you of tee time. Course is good for intermediate and high handicappers. Single digit handicap and bombers will find this course easy. Playing from black tees, I reached the end of the fairway several times. Basically, driver and 9I or less to greens.
Pretty course with good conditions. Some of the bunkers need more sand. Most of the greens are in decent conditions considering the weather. The pace of play could be improved. We finished in 5 hours. Since most golfer are shoot over 90, it may be an unreasonable expectation. However, I would definitely play here again but from gold tees next time.
Good course very fair for risk reward.
Enjoyed the company of new friends, played from the black tees and no problem with desert caries. No water hazards that came into play. Greens where very consistant in speed a little slower then use to,. Restrooms where hard to find and th wife of one of the players went all the way back to club house which slowed play 5 hour round on Saturday a little long for this course length.
Hidden Treasure
First time at the Arroyo Course. The four of us were delighted. Great shape. Nice course
Beautiful course
A must play if you go to Vegas and you want to see a desert course
Henderson Resident
This was a Great course to play. It was a fast pace of play and the weather was perfect.
Friendly Arnie
Mostly wide open fairways that winds through a beautiful neighborhood against a scenic Red Rock mountain with fair size greens that are fun to putt on. Beautifully designed with mostly reachable par 5s with a few long par 4 & par 3. Good conditions and a good pace of play adds to a pleasurable round.
Red Rock
Overall excellent value. Not crowded due to 100 degree temperature.
Great day at Arroyo.
Very well maintained course with large greens and pleasing to the eye. Located against the base of a mountain, you get some beautiful views out here. Staff were nice and an enjoyed day of golf.
Great facility
First time playing here and I was impressed with the condition of the course. The greens were fast and challenging. My only minor quibbles would be that played form the blue or white tees it is very short. For a low handicapper you would need to play from the tips to really use all your clubs. But it was a great value for the money and the staff was top notch!
Nice day in the desert
Staff super friendly, course in good shape. Got in the round before it got too hot thanks to a good pace. Interesting course but seemed like the whole course was like playing island holes due to all the desert areas. Could be a long day if playing a little wild. Will be back
Excellent Course with Country Club Feel!!!
For the value, this course is an excellent course to play. The scenery throughout the course is beautiful. The recommendation by my friend to play this course was well worth....the service was outstanding...every time I come to Vegas this is a must play course.
Impressively Hot
Both the day and the course. It got up to 113 that day and the condition of the course was impeccable from tee to green. Nice layout, enough challange especially with the elevated greens and the bunkers. Still a course you can score on and not go home beating yourself up swearing to quit golf again. Views were amazing staff was very friendly. It was a great round.
Will come back and try again.
Once you play this course, you learn where to go and when. Don't count on someone telling you where the first hole is. No staff around to get you started at the club house. Once you find the starter then things will go better. Course in good shape. Sand traps need attention. Lots of weeds in them.
Great desert course!
Great desert course! Love the contrast of brown rocks and green fairways! Played with a twosome that had played before. This really helped me--- what to hit and aim points. Some forced carries! Overall--- great desert course. Could learn to love desert golf!
Food at the bar was minimal!!! Could use a bigger menu with a better selections.
Awesome
Great course, location and view if red rock, the facilities were nice and well manicured, can't wait to play this course again
Great course...
Although the course is just great....I was disappointed in the fact that it was 104...and the cart girl never came by once. This was the only flaw in an otherwise great day of golf! I would highly recommend this course!
