Good layout. Traps were not kept up. No sand and puddles of water in most from irrigation. But a good time if you can avoid the bunkers.

I would call if you have never been here before... Way confusing on how to do bag drop and then go back to pro shop across the street. If you are going by yourself for the first time I would highly recommend pairing up with someone since the signage on the course is not very clear at some points the sign is behind you at a fork in the sidewalk. Walking the course would be a 20 on a scale of 1-10 for difficulty based on distance to even the first tee Since the golf carts are not allowed in the parkng lot you also have to either carry your bag long distance or just trust that no one will load your clubs in their car while you go get your car. Members definitely have perks with just about everything. I would get a membership if I lived in the area, but for a one day out to play while the wife is busy with a conference it worked for me! Shot an 80 and that is pretty good for me since I had never played the course before and didn't know the nuances of the course. All in all a great day till it rained hard core the last hole and then had to hike a mile with my clubs to the parking lot in the rain... Soaked river rat comes to mind! LOL

We were 30 minutes behind at the turn and we called it.

As always this course is beautifully maintained and has a fun but always challenging layout! The team at red hawk is always above and beyond from the pro shop to the bev cart to the Marshalls.

Played this course for the first time. It was a little confusing looking for the clubhouse which is next to the driving range. However had to navigate across the street to get a cart. But that was the only thing I found inconvenient. The staff was amazing from the time I walked into the pro shop. The range was a little crowded on a weekend, but I stayed patient as there was an instructional class going on. Grow the game, right? But the Pro was very helpful with course knowledge about fairways and green slopes. Overall I had a great experience playing the Hills course and look forward to giving the Lakes course a play!

Greens were in great shape but the fairways and tee boxes were soaked.

The fairways were in good shape. The greens were bumpy and uneven. The bunkers were in terrible shape. Apparently they don't rake them or keep them up at all. Very disappointing

Good challenging public course. Greens were fast one long par 5. A couple of difficult par 3s. Layout can be a bit tricky. Exactly what you want for the money! Will be back!

I was told it was wide open, we were a 3some, behind a 4some and they played TV Golf the whole round.It was slow for sure and the marshal did nothing. the Hills course is the best maintained of the two.

A fine little course where everything is just right out in front of you. Not much trouble to get into, but somewhat of a target golf course from the white tees. The conditions were really good, the greens rolled true and fast, and overall a great outing and a fun place to play.
