Just Ok.
I have played this course a few times and always am disappointed after my round. The course was in very good shape and greens although punched a month or so ago were rolling pretty good. My issue is first with the starter, get a personality and be friendly to the guest. Not acceptable in this industry. Other issues we had were with pace of play. We ended up not finishing since darkness was coming and we skipped a few holes on back nine due to slow play, five some playing not ready golf and lack of the Marshall doing anything to help. If play was 4:15 minute round all would have been good. We skipped a few holes and if not it would have been 5 plus hours. This is not right. Will only play again if I am the first one out.
Great course
The course was great, lots of elevation changes. Unfortunately it was very windy the day we played but other than that it was great!
Okayest
It was fine, it was Red Hawk I like the course. The weather looked like rain all day and never did. It was a little bit cold ,but okay. Little bit cloudy, but okay. It was really calm no wind, no one behind or infront of us. It's golf, it's November, it"s okay.
Neighborhood course
Winter conditions with ice frost delay. Still charging full price. Not worth the price tag. Cmon guys taking advantage of people because there aren’t enough courses to play around area. Not cool at all
Great Day - Fun Course
Course was in good condition. First time playing The Lakes; not too difficult, but a good challenge.
The overall course was in good shape!
The pin placements made it very difficult to score. The greens were fast, which I liked. But combining difficult pin placements with fast greens made the round unenjoyable. I missed several four to five foot downhill putts that ended up 10 to 12 feet past the hole. I have a 6.9 index, so I'm not a hack!
Good Shape
It was smokey but the weather was warm and the course was in good shape. I like the course I like the lay out and it was in good shape.
Always great
RedHawk rarely disappoints. New carts are very nice and staff was helpful.
Red Hawk - Lakes Course
Ccourse was in near flawless condition this morning. Grass was excellent both on the fairways and greens. Even the beverage cart was good. The only negative was that the group behind played a ball right into us. That's not the course's fault. However, the course marshall came around and we mentioned it. It didn't happen again. Kudos to Red Hawk personnel.
They charge you $20 to ride in a cart alone
They wait until after you check in and drive a cart all the way to their number one tee, that you have to ride with someone you don't know or have to pay an extra $20 to ride the cart you just drive all the way there. That is so underhanded. Your cart fee should be one per cart in COVID. Dirt bags forcing that at the last minute. I normally walk, had I known I would have taken my push cart.
