Always fun to play
The Wentworth is always a fun course to play. It is not overly long and if you can hit your driver straight your playing a small wedge into most greens. Playing a fairway wood off most tees still only leaves you a short iron into the greens. The back has several tricky holes but if you play them smart, they are very manageable. The views, especially from the 15th green are exceptional. Greens tend to be a little on the slow side, but are usually in pretty good shape. Not the toughest course to play, but always a lot of fun.

this course is in great shape. The pro was a great guy (John, I think),
The front nine was pretty simple and we thought that this round would be a bit dull.... WRONG, the back nine issued a challenge that proved to be very interesting and somewhat tough. The flat ground of the front turned into changes of elevation that made us "flatlanders" ( we are from South Jersey)somewhat bewildered as to how to handle the topography..
A nice day and a nice course.
I describe the front as the warmup, the back is the "the fun".

Phenomenal scenery
Picturesque scenery. Pace of play was excellent. Staff was friendly. Greens and fairways were in top shape. We would have played 2 rounds if we had the time. Great atmosphere.
Mountain Gem
On vacation, booked on Golf Now as a single while the family was at the pool for the day. Ended up playing with the owners of the course, who couldn't have been nicer. That being said the track is a little short on some holes, but overall a fun play. There are 2 par threes on the back that are challenging, one uphill one down. Great tucked away gem even if the greens are slow. Got a great deal, met the owners (who invited me back!) and played 18 in 3 hours. Excellent!
Good course - layout covers a lot of ground
Wentworth is a nice course in the Mount Washington Valley area. During my last round there they had recently aerated the greens, but worked hard (and had hard rains) to help get them back into good playing condition. Unfortunately, the previous days rains also left many waterlogged spots on the fairways and lots of debris.
the course layout is pretty far ranging, having you cross a road twice, and wind through an neighborhood at times, but this provides a lot of character and good scenery.
the course plays short, with only a few opportunities to drive the ball far, but the fairways are open enough that finding a bad shot isn't too hard.
the greens were not in great shape during our round, but had very recently been aerated, and the starter, and pro shop attendant both made sure we were aware of the conditions.
Fully stocked and large pro shop. Food and beverage options a short walk from the parking lot.
Overall I enjoyed this course, and will likely play it again next time I'm in the MWV.
Very friendly! The course is in great shape!
Golf now is amazing. It's so easy to use. We just went on in the morning and got an awesome deal! No questions asked.'

Favorite place to play and through Golf Now always can find a deal that saves just over $30!
Perfect day of golf
I always seem to play The Wentworth when the weather is great. The course plays great and there are some challenging holes. I always have a great time playing there.

Classic Turn of the Century New England Resort Course
Short and sweet with some interesting back nine holes with elevation changes. I have always enjoyed this course with my companions of every playing ability. Great location with fabulous views of the area including Mt Washington. Don't forget to leave time for a quick bite and beverage at Madeline's cafe at the 11th or 18th holes.
Great Find
Visiting from Florida and always enjoy playing away from home. This is a great course that requires accurate shot placement to score well. If you are in to swinging hard in case you make contact or spray and pray tee shots you are going to have a long day and need lots of balls. Take the time to visit the course website and take the course tour. It will help a lot. If you leave the driver in the bag and use something you can place shots with you will love this course. Great elevation changes, a couple of blind shots and challenging small greens. Enjoy.
Sand
The back nine was aerated three days ago, the greens were sandy, difficult to putt.
Great Rainy Day
The rain was the only downside to this day. The course covers an insane amount of real estate and is truly "in the woods". Many steep downhills from tee to pin and a few climbs too. Really a top notch course. I would not recommend walking this course.
Nice Course
Course is short but challenging.
Wentworth CC
First time and probably won't play it again until the early fall due to the overwhelming amount of tourists that frequent the North Conway area during the summer. I live in the Lakes Region of NH and familiar with the summer tourists, but N. Conway is in a league of its own. The only negative with this course is there is no driving range. Perhaps setting up a hitting area with a net might be helpful for players that need a warm up b4 playing.
Make sure you play with someone with "local knowledge" of the course. Tee shots can be deceiving and the landing areas can eat you up. It's a nice course with elevation changes. The da I played, the greens and fairways needed to be mowed after a night rain, but other than that its a nice course and fun to play on.
