2nd shot on par 5 scenic hole on back 9. Photo submitted by MONH1 on 05/12/2015
Course is well maintained the greens were excellent
My wife and I have played this course before and we really enjoy it. The front nine was in great shape and we moved right along. The back nine was not in very good shape and due to the recent weather the black fly infestation was brutal turning a great day into surviving the attack by these insects.

Nice course has some holes with character on back nine
Greens in good condition
Staff very friendly
Good mid-week value
Fun course, especially for a mid and high HC player. Short holes but some nice layouts and really picturesque surroundings.
Wentworth on a beautiful day
We played 18 on Saturday. The course had been completely saturated by rain on Thursday and Friday. Grounds crew did an excellent job and course was super. Staff keep things moving -- we never had to wait and started right on time.
Great mountain course!
Great course with beautiful views. Unfortunate that they aerated the greens last week but it is a necessary evil. Overall a great time and a fun course.
Course in great shape
The staff is professional and friendly. Thr course in in fabulous shape. Challenging enough and the surrounding beauty make it a 'go to' course for us. Worth the drive from Portland, ME.
Great place to play.
Second time there and planning on a fall foliage round. The front is a easier course with really nice views. A quick stop at the awesome sandwich/hotdog/and drinks shack and then the challenging back starts. It may get a little harder but not that bad. BUT! The views get even better. Great staff and friendly patrons makes this one of the most enjoyable places to play. This is a must do course.
Short but nice
Its a short course. Nice course in really good condition and well maintain. the first nine is easy and forgiving, the back nine is a little bit more difficult and offer really nice scenery. we enjoyed it a lot. best value for the money.
Great Time
My husband and I played this course for the first time and absolutely loved it. Back 9 beautiful and challenging. Need a sign after 17 to point to 18. We headed back to club house for 18. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotdog and beer across the street afterward was great and patrons friendly. Can't wait to play again
Fun resort style course.
Beautiful views. Very Slow lush greens. Course came through the winter very well. Very green and dry. None of the usual wet spots in spring. Always fun to play. Lay out is short and sweet. Holes 14 through 17 more challenging. Enjoy.
The course was in great shape, Greens were amazing pace of play was what you should expect on a holiday weekend.
Very enjoyable round...
Course in pretty good condition for this time of year. Greens still on the slower side but rolling putting pretty well. Enjoyable time. #11 is back to playing as a par 4 now that things have dried out a bit. Looking forward to playing it again. :)
Very enjoyable round
The conditions were very good for the beginning of the season. The course was not very busy and the pace was great. As always the staff was very Friendly and accommodating.
Enjoyable round...
Very nice club house. Course was in pretty nice shape for only the second day they were open for the year. It's a very short course, but with enough character to keep you interested.
Greens are spongy and pretty slow. Really have to hammer the putts, though the do roll pretty well. Took me 3/4 of the round to condition myself to hit the ball so much harder than typical, but that's my fault for adjusting poorly. Picture the hole 30% further away than it is and you'll likely avoid coming up substantially short over and over like I did.
Overall it was a very positive experience. Look forward to playing it again.
P.S. The brand new golf carts with USB charging were an excellent addition! :)
