Crystal Springs Resort
About Crystal Springs Resort
Crystal Springs Resort is a 4,000-acre playground located only an hour across the New Jersey state line from New York City. It is one of the country’s largest golf resorts with six courses - Ballyowen, Black Bear, Cascades, Crystal Springs, Minerals and Wild Turkey – and three driving ranges. The Grand Cascades Lodge houses 220 guest rooms with an inspired welcome: An outdoor putting course leading to an indoor lobby with high ceilings, wood beams and a stone fireplace. Both it and the 175-room Minerals Hotel feature their own spas and pools. Children will love the Biosphere, an indoor pool complex with an aquarium, vortex pool and caves, 140-foot waterslide and café, all in a tropical theme. Twelve restaurants are spread out among the course clubhouses and hotels, delivering a variety of menus and price points. Between the Mineral Sports Club and Adventure Center, there’s always a new activity or program to enjoy.Facts

When I came here 3~4 years ago, it wasn't well-maintained, but now it has improved a lot.
Repair Your Divots and Ball Marks!
Great course but players are not doing their part to replace divots and repair ball marks on the greens. Course management should have sand/seed on the tee boxes and in the golf carts…
Wild Turkey
The course has open fairways and many different challenges. A very fun course to play with beautiful views
A waste
This short 9 hole will be over before you know it, especially since there are no signs at the tee boxes to tell you hole number and yardage. Tee boxes were chewed up, rough was VERY rough, and the staff was rather uptight for a course that allows footgolf. Your money will be poorly spent and you will go home unsatisfied.
Picturesque
I’ve played at Crystal Springs and Black Bear before. Wild Turkey was spectacular starting with the starter who knew I was playing alone and he went ahead to let the two teams prior to let me play through and that I owned the course. I had such an amazing time I immediately told my friends and we’re looking to go next weekend. Pricey but worth every penny!
Carts . . . .BIG ISSUE
If you want to ensure a almost 5;hour round this is your place . . .. the carts are now going 5mph tops . . . Total total mess . . . So bad check the teenaheetntoday almost ALL PM tee times were available . . . Maybe they will catch on when the profits go down . . . WAY DOWN . . . Truths the truth
It's hard.
The course is difficult. Intermediate is good to play.
Pretty good
The sand bunkers are a big problem - tons of rocks in them, and I had to clean behind the ball so as to avoid dinging my clubs. Pace of play was generally ok, but there was a major backup on the par 5 #13 with 3 groups playing the hole when we got to the tee.
A great round
Had a great round with 3 friends, just a perfect day and course was in excellent shape. Staff was friendly and can't wait to get another round.
