About Crystal Springs Resort
Crystal Springs Resort is a 4,000-acre playground located only an hour across the New Jersey state line from New York City. It is one of the country’s largest golf resorts with six courses - Ballyowen, Black Bear, Cascades, Crystal Springs, Minerals and Wild Turkey – and three driving ranges. The Grand Cascades Lodge houses 220 guest rooms with an inspired welcome: An outdoor putting course leading to an indoor lobby with high ceilings, wood beams and a stone fireplace. Both it and the 175-room Minerals Hotel feature their own spas and pools. Children will love the Biosphere, an indoor pool complex with an aquarium, vortex pool and caves, 140-foot waterslide and café, all in a tropical theme. Twelve restaurants are spread out among the course clubhouses and hotels, delivering a variety of menus and price points. Between the Mineral Sports Club and Adventure Center, there’s always a new activity or program to enjoy.Facts

Great December round
Very enjoyable round. Considering it's been a week since 10 inches of snow, conditions were great. Got a great price, staff was friendly.
Great course and great staff!!
Played there on December 1st not ideal
Weather that day but course is fun and challenging. Staff is excellent and very friendly as well as helpful. Look forward to going back to play in warmer weather!
I really enjoy Wild Turkey however there was no starter no ranger and groups just went a tee off The group in front of us I believe were supposed to tee off after us .
The value at $43 via a GolfNow Hot Deal was pretty good. , but the staff yelled at my foursome from on top of the hill to get off of the course. The started did not mention it and we did not appreciate the aggressiveness of the staff in yelling at us. With that said, this is a typical course that runs through many backyards and avoiding houses will be a challenge for the errant golfer. The moguls on both sides are more like large hills that turned into a game of where's waldo? when looking for balls. Decent course, very fun par 3 on back 9, but cart path-only made this an endurance test and greatly reduced the experience. Will not be back.
Nice price. Bad pacing.
We got a Friday tee time at 11:30am for $33 per golfer. Can’t beat that price. But the pace of play was extremely slow.
This course is also a course for children’s golf and foot golf. So not only are there two pins on every green, but the fairways and rough are littered with giant holes and flags for foot golf.
Course is in good condition but it took over 5 hours to play the nine twice because of how backed up everything was between the regular golfers and the families playing “foot golf”.
Great Fall deal.
Overall, this was a fun day. Crystal Springs requires your game to be sharp as it is tight and played long in the cold, fall air. Have to be on right tier in greens too.
Slow play and cart path only
I booked it on golf now. The course was dry as a bone. Except for the first par five which one portion of it seemed like it was pretty soggy. There was no reason for it to be cartpath only for the entire round. Literally one hole was all that was needed. It’s slowed everything down. 2 1/2 hours for nine holes. Really disappointed.
