About Crystal Springs Resort
Crystal Springs Resort is a 4,000-acre playground located only an hour across the New Jersey state line from New York City. It is one of the country’s largest golf resorts with six courses - Ballyowen, Black Bear, Cascades, Crystal Springs, Minerals and Wild Turkey – and three driving ranges. The Grand Cascades Lodge houses 220 guest rooms with an inspired welcome: An outdoor putting course leading to an indoor lobby with high ceilings, wood beams and a stone fireplace. Both it and the 175-room Minerals Hotel feature their own spas and pools. Children will love the Biosphere, an indoor pool complex with an aquarium, vortex pool and caves, 140-foot waterslide and café, all in a tropical theme. Twelve restaurants are spread out among the course clubhouses and hotels, delivering a variety of menus and price points. Between the Mineral Sports Club and Adventure Center, there’s always a new activity or program to enjoy.Facts

Great course but not better than wild turkey
We started at 8:10 this morning and was done at 12:30 which was fantastic. We started on hole 10 which made us fly by.
The one issue was the course didn’t have directions from the 10th hole tee box back to the club house. Once we finished hole 9 which was our 18th today, we found it hard and confusing to get back to the club house. We easily wasted 10 mins driving around the course for no reason. Please address this issue.
The course was in great shape and the pace of play was 4:15 which was great. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in great shape. There were some water logged bunkers but based on how much it had rained 2 days before, it was impressive that the course was not that wet. All in all, a great day at wild turkey.
Ehhh
Nice course and decent layout. For a $100+ course I’d expect a little better conditions. Greens were super slow and bunkers were horrible, especially without much rain. A little disappointed but a good course none the less.
Fantastic
4th of July player with 3 buddies. Had an absolutely wonderful time. Pace was slow but was a holiday.
Black Bear
Good course close to home and great and different holes to play!
If your not a accurate golfer don't bother small tight fairways pin location was very tough beatifiul maintained course. Lots of moguls on every hole
Reintroduction
I hadn't played Crystal springs in 15 + years. The routing is totally changed and the character altered due to the total lining of the course with housing. It was somewhat disorientating at times, to be honest. What hasn't changed is the challenge poised by the course. It is a penal as I remember it, even for what appeared to be a well played shot. Being a resort course you expect a little slower play by it took almost 6 hours to get around. The ranger was no help pushing the band of hacks in front of us reducing the enjoyment not only for our group but for every foursome behind us.
This course is challenging but fair. The greens and fairways were in great shape.
Top Course in the TriState area
Sand traps were not in great condition.
Realizing how much rain the area has had this season, I’m sure new sand is in its way!
Soggy
Course does not drain well. Balls being lost in middle of fairway on a couple of holes. Great course when dry
Great value
Not an easy course by any means but it's in great shape and you can't beat the value. Not overly long but you have to hit your targets. Greens are very true. Nice layout, will definitely be back.
Very Good course for practice
Good layout course, usually cascade is very nice and clean, but today few fairways grass is terrible have a lot of weeds also green is still have a lot maintenance of small holes on the green. Maybe after end of May course will be better conditions.
