Spring Golf! Photo submitted by Sshipper on 03/09/2022
Great course, but certainly busy upon check in.
Course itself was very good, but found the check in area to be very congested and chaotic. We were worried that the check in staff would put our clubs on the wrong cart as they seemed very overwhelmed and distracted.
Spring break trip
Brunswick was in fantastic shape. Came down from Canada for our March Break trip and thoroughly enjoyed the course and the price was hard to beat. Greens were very pure.
SLOW and RUDE
Played on a Saturday. Collegiate golfers had 2 of the 9s filed so we had to play one of the 3 9s twice. Starter was a young punk that gave yes or no answers and couldn't get any info out if him. He said we were 10 minutes behind but closer to 45. Just avoid this place. I have played at myrtlewood, kings north, barefoot dye, arcadian shores, sandpiper, etc.. on this trip. This was lamest course and rudest treatment thus far.
Great Day
I put down great day not because I golfed great. I didn't. It was quite windy and quite cool until close to the end of the round. My clubs took turns forgetting what their jobs were. My putter often did its own thing. I say all this to accentuate the fact that when we finished I felt relaxed and really looking forward to my next round at this facility. It was that enjoyable. Great folks on staff too.
Great course but freezing weather and cart paths only.
We wish that the weather would have cooperated because it appeared to be a great course. But it was cart paths only that day, which made it lengthy, and the weather was barely above freezing, mostly overcast and windy. So not the perfect conditions to really evaluate the course.
Exceptional Experience
Really can't say enough. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire day! Look forward to.returning one day.
Very good choice
After an hour wait past the tee time, the course was very enjoyable. The course was in very good shape. A must play.
fairways rolled and greens were decent
this course is always worth playing. fairways filled out nicely and greens rolled good. nice layout and pleasant to the eye. played with nice couple from Pennsylvania. Saw one small Gator a blue bird and multiple Grey and black squirrels. would recommend this course to everyone and anyone.
Really nice course
First time playing Brunswick and I will return next time I am in Myrtle Beach for vacation. Course was in great shape especially the greens. I was very happy with everything here.
Glad i made the drive up
Course was in good shape, cart path only after 3 sunny days. Bunkers still filled with water though.
Very wet days following rain
We played Magnolia/Dogwood as we are considering buying property in Brunswick Plantation. The greens were in very good shape and had decent speed. We liked the layout and staff was friendly. The driving range was closed and it was cart paths only as the course was soaked from rain the day before. Many bunkers were filled with water so that if your ball entered you couldn’t see or retrieve it. We weren’t warned before tee off and we’re told afterwards that it can take 2-3 days to dry out depending on rain levels.
No discount or remediation was offered so I would recommend not playing if it has rained up to 2 days prior..
Great course!! Very challenging and beautiful
1st time playing this course. Being February conditions are wet and it has rained day before. Fairways and green w winter grasses made the round enjoyable. Only problem I saw is yardage markers were pretty difficult to find. I forgot my GPS. Many sprinkler heads were not marked as well. Other then that very nice course and layout. Ball placement is key to stay out of trouble.played from Men's white 6000 -6200 total yardage 👍. Hit em straight!!
