Spring Golf! Photo submitted by Sshipper on 03/09/2022
Brunswick
Course is always in excellent condition every month of the year!
Brick
Course is in excellent condition and the staff is outstanding! I love playing this course!
Golf
Disappointed that it was cart path only, as the fairways with the exception of one or two were very dry
Golf
Disappointed it was cart path only, the fairways seemed pretty dry except for a few small areas
Enjoyed this course!!
Good round of golf. Would recommend to others. Course layout good and the fairways in good condition!!
Great condition for mid-December
Fairways and greens excellent shape. Was in the best condition compared to the previous (3) courses I played. Will put it on my "play it again" list.
Would play again
Only negative was that we had to play cart path only. No distance marker on cart path. Club selection difficult and sometimes you need to hit the wrong club not to slowdown the track. Otherwise, worth the trip.
Consistently good
For last few years course has been a must do on trips in fall and spring. Only down side today was cart path only due to overseed. Not easy to walk since cart paths are often quite far from ball due to wide fairways. But a necessary evil this time of year just be sure to ask. Greens fairways and tees all good shape
Great course in Brunswick County, NC
Friendly staff and 27 holes of fun, challenging golf. Course is in very good condition
Needs better distance markings
The course was in very good and very playable condition. Our one complaint is that the course is not well marked from a distance perspective. There are no poles marking 200/150/100. They do mark the sprinkler heads, but many are missing the numbers. The sprinkler heads are challenging to find to begin with and then It's frustrating once you find one only to discover the number plaque is broken off. we found ourselves driving in circles and then ending up with a best guess as to the distance. We did find a few 150's in the fairway, but they were the size of a small brick. This is something the course could easily fix, making this a much more enjoyable round.
One last comment (it is what it is...) If you're looking for a course with a lot of natural setting, this isn't it. Most holes are cut between houses. There's separation with tree's and lakes, but you won't have many picturesque views. Solid course, but it is what it is.
Great all-around golf experience
Greens tees and fairways all in excellent conditions. Cart paths like new. 4:20 pace of play perfect for me. Driving range and putting green both we’re in good condition and very helpful. Would recommend to anyone but particularly the high handicappers who need a bit of extra fairway width off the tee.
Interested layout. Fast greens and great fairway cover
Two 20-handicappers played BP on 10/20/22. Course in good shape. A few traps need some maintenance but the tees greens and fairways all excellent. I found the cart paths to be in good condition. 4:20 to play. We were assigned the dogwood/Azalia nines. Definitely recommended
