Grandover East Excellent Day
Great way to spend a weekday afternoon with fellow lefty golfer. Overall course design and conditions made for a fun 18.
Excellent Course
Prime conditions. Bent grass greens in excellent shape for late July. Very challenging green designs that makes a seemingly medium challenge golf course into a true test. Concrete golf paths which is great on that L4 and L5 vertibrae. Service: bag attendants loading and unloading golf bags, cleaning clubs at end of play, complementary logo'd towels and tees. GPS'd golf carts. It's a steal for $30+ (probably $75 course) Warning: drinks start at $3 water n $4 soft, forget the beer
East at Grandover is superp
I had the pleasure of playing the East course at Gradnover in June. Course condition was fantastic, staff were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Great course, great facilities and great day. We will be back.
Great Value at under $40
I had a great time, enjoyed the round with poor play the day before and had to come back and play again, shot 7 strokes better after knowing more about the course, would recommend you play it three times in a row.
Miss this course
I have played this course for years, pretty much since it opened, before moving to Cary. I went back to play and still love this side and the west, just makes me think a little bit which makes it fun. The course is also in great shape and above all else it was nice to know some of the old team there. I forgot my charger and CHRIS went above and beyond to get his own charger out of his car!! I was never a resident but always treated like one.
All I Expected
I expected a lot from this course, and it didn't let me down. The condition of the course was excellent, and it gave a great game. The staff was friendly. The pace of play was good. We only had to wait a little starting around the 16th hole. However, it was not bad. Overall it was a great course with good amenities. We will definitely play it again.
Great condition tee to green
Saturday afternoon round, played 18 holes in 3hrs. Course is in great shape.
Review
Staff is polite at best - not helpful. Course is terrific.
Very enjoyable
My wife and I played this course while in the area for the US Open. Very friendly staff, and pace was good. Challenging but playable course- no complaints, we really enjoyed it. Best I could find in the Greensboro area. Definitely recommend.
LOVE THIS COURSE -- WILL BE BACK
While attending the AAU National Basketball Championships, three fathers grabbed our clubs to get away. We looked thru GolfNow and found what looked like an interesting course at Grandover. We booked it and tee-ed it up.
Grandover West Course is fabulous. Beautiful lay out. While there are some houses on the course, there are a few holes that feel like you are all alone in the woods.
Well kept, considering the heat. Greens were a little slow, accounting for the greenskeepers wanting to protect themfrom the summer heat.
The overall course was difficult, but fair. Lots of bunkers to navigate, but it didnt feel "tricked up." Also a lot of elevation changes, which I find more interesting. And the undulating greens were a challenge.
Overall, I shot a bit below my handicap, but I was having a great day. I only wish I could have found time to experience the East Course to compare. (But they had just aerated the greens).
If you are in Greensboro for any reason, and you like to play golf, make it a point to get to Grandover. You wont regret your decision.
Great little resort course!
If you can get a tee time greens fee at around $45 on GN it's a great deal. Normally around $65 any other way and a bit steep with so many other great courses around but still a nice little course well maintained with an attentive, considerate staff.
Beautiful golf course
Take time to play this great golf course. Perfect greens and fairways were in great shape. Love the East course.
Fine course
Course was completely empty for our early afternoon round, which was nice. Greens were well maintained. GPS system is getting a little dated.
First class golf experience
By far one of my favorite places to play in North Carolina!
Grandover east Course
Greens in great condition as was the rest of the course
Grandover-West
The course played great, very different from afternoon to the morning, but still a great value for the course. I plan to play the course again and soon.
No rain checks offered.
Great course but rained most of the time playing.would not do a rain check. So didn't really enjoy my round.
Awesome
What a beautiful golf course, played the East the longer more difficult of the two. Front nine is extremely tight, winding through trees with hazards coming into play. Back nine opens up a little and isn't quite as scenic but still a great layout. For $30.00 on GolfNow I feel like I got away with stealing. My only suggestion would be that they switch the nines so you finish with in my opinion the better nine holes.
In addition, the staff was top notch.
Challenging, Scenic Venue
This resort is a quality property with two excellent golf courses. Course I played was in good shape, particularly the greens which were very smooth and rolled true. A few fairways had some brown spots, but otherwise in nice shape. I played the West course on two days. After being paired with a twosome, it took about 4 and one-half hours to play behind what appeared to be a small company outing. Playing alone with an early morning tee time two days later, I played in a little less than three hours with the course virtually to myself. Using GolfNow made this a very good value for the quality golf course.

Great courses and facilities. Greens were in great condition. Wish they had a beverage cart on the course though.
