Great layout-decent shape
Played the West Course last year when I was in the area and really enjoyed it. This year I played the East course. I really enjoyed the layout. It is challenging and fun without being overly hard or penal. The course is really dry and in decent shape. The greens were very firm and fast, and pretty smooth. All in all it was a fun round, however, at $82 I felt it was slightly over priced. But if you've got the money to splurge, give it a try.
Great NC GOLF
Beats Pinehurst any day. Oh yeah, you heard me!!
And you know I’m right. Yep….
The course was in great shape!
We played the East course! Although the greens were sanded, putts rolled true.
Nice Track
Grandover is a nice place to play. Staff is fantastic and very friendly and inviting (unlike some other resort locations I have been to). The layout is very nice and the course is challenging, but fair. The $100 price tag is hard to swallow as a “local”, but on a given occasion this is a great place to play.
Great Experience
Beautiful course that was very challenging. Well worth your time to play a round here.
Resort Quality Golf
I Played the East course in 1996 then quit golf for the next 27 years. I started back in November and had the pleasure to play Grandover again yesterday.
This is resort quality golf without the resort prices. Everything and everyone associated with the club are outstanding. The course was immaculate, pro shop was fantastic and the carts were perfect. I cannot say anything bad or negative about this experience. If ever in Greensboro, NC, you must give this place a try.
Pretty good
Only complaint was the price which seems a little high for the afternoon on a weekday. Overall course and carts were in good shape. Price included range balls. We pretty much had the course open to ourselves on the front nine but got stacked due to one group up on the back nine with no staff in sight.
Challenging track
Just don’t use the in cart food ordering system, The order does not make it to the restaurant. Had to wait around for them to prepare our food. We ordered 15 minutes prior to getting there starting the ninth hole. Otherwise, had a great time!
Nice track
This is a beautiful corse that I will be playing again soon . I do think the price was a bit much but maybe they will see that the course would get more players if they lower the price.

yes, its def overpriced in Peak Season Months!
Top Notch Facilities
Probably the nicest course I’ve played in my decades long golf adventures! Top notch everything! 8’ wide concrete cart paths, and 8” tall curbs the last 80 to 100 yards of every hole to insure carts stay away from approaches & greens. Beautiful Covered Bridges across creeks and 2 top quality secured restrooms on the course. Course grasses were lush and the greens smooth (but firm). Practice areas & range are also great but the range tee grasses can get warn by mid-summer! Massive practice green. The only issue here is the Cost of a Round! Basically $100 on a weekday afternoon is excessive! Membership Money keeps this place operating since visitors and or hotel guest play is not excessive… mainly because its apprx $35 to expensive!

*Why on earth a $90 quality golf course manager would use crappy stone filled sand in bunkers is beyond me. Now most traps have some of the worse sand I’ve ever experienced!
Nice course
The course was very nice a little bit. Pricey I was not too happy with the concession stand. The service can be up much better if the people were more friendly.
A Good Day at Grandover
This is a fun, but challenging course and it was in terrific condition. Friendly, helpful staff made the day even more peasant. I would definitely play here again. We played the East Course and quite enjoyed it.
Driving range was in bad shape
Driving range only thing to complain about and no water to drink while out there
Great value
For $90 a round, it was more than worth it. Difficult course, but in great condition. Water hazards etc amazing!!!
Starter was friendly and amenities abound. Will play again on my next visit!!
range balls are no longer included! +$15
