Old Beau Resort & Golf Club

Despite the virus, this course was ready for business. It was in immaculate condition, including the sand traps. The design tough in spots, but fair. It is one of the most beautiful courses that I have played, and I have played over 690 courses. Good value for the buck. Views from the top of this course are breathtaking. I would definitely play Olde Beau again. The burial monument to the English Bull Dog showed a touch of class.

Course was in very good condition. Greens were in great shape and rolled at an average speed. The course has some very scenic holes with moderate elevation changes on many of the holes.

Always enjoy going here but appears the greens may have suffered some winter kill. Aeration taking time to heal and they are extremely slow and don't look anything like they have over the last 5 years I have played here. This course had some of the best greens around.

The friendly staff greeted us upon arrival and checked us in very quickly. We had the 0800 tee time but were able to go off around 0740 since there we no groups in the times in front of us.

The course was in very good shape. The fairways, rough and traps were excellent. The greens were still growing back in from being punched but the ball rolled pretty well. The views through out the round were great.

I played the blue tees and the course at just over 6000 yards was challenging with all the elevation changes and the side hill lies. The course is fair and a lot of fun to play.

This was the first time in many years I had played the course but i will be returning soon to play it again.

It has somewhat up and down courses but they have beautiful scenery. I loved it!!

Truly a mountain course with huge elevation changes and amazing views. Tees and fairways were in great condition but greens are still recovering from aeration. Great layout with some amazing hole designs. Some blind shots - would play better the next time. With the high winds and back tees was a tough test. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Plan to go back soon.

Play Olde Beau!! Been plying here for years. Always beautiful and the greens are super nice. A few traps were not up to par condition. Overall, a great time and the scenery is unmatched. This is one of my favorite places in world!! Book your round, take a few mulligans and you will not be disappointed.

Course was in great condition and you would be hard pressed to find a more scenic golf course around. A must play course with some very good elevation changes.

Course was in great shape. Fast play and great value. Lunch counter limited menu and so slow. Best to have a delivery made. Course is challenging, pin usually hid on second shot. Fun course because of the natural topography comes into play on almost every hole. It’s a mountain course with tight par 3. Better hit the green or you will suffer!

VERY scenic with constant shifts in elevation and dips and moguls you won’t see from the tee.

A shot into the trees is gone forever.

Morning greens are soft and receptive then turn into marble when they dry out. Watch for mud around the greens.

Par 5 #17 is a double black diamond.

At $34 for a Friday morning holiday weekend tee time, it’s stupid cheap.

My favorite Carolina course in spite of a pre-ordained high score.

Greens were PGA caliber, fast and true. Position golf at its finest. 17, greatest hole i ever played, see for yourself and join me. Simply spectacular! Scenic course, one to remember. You'll be back

Amazing scenery, challenging course but very fun. Hitting the fairway is a must, being a little off here can hurt a lot. Would definitely recommend.

A friend and I drove up Thursday morning to play this course. I had heard a lot about it and driven by it numerous times.

The course was a wonderful mountain course with fantastic vistas. The views were as good as was the course. Being from the mountains I have a different appreciation for these views. We will play this course again and I am already looking forward to it.

Very great scenery and its peaceful. Love the layout . Greens are very firm and small so precision is a must. Fairways are hard as a rock and hard to get a lot of spin due to this. Definitely need more grass in the fairway but waant horrible. Bunkers are horrible they need alot of work. Tee boxes were in good shape. Very challenging course from the tips.
