One of the most fun golf courses I’ve played!
Played a few days after the course opened for the year, and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Looked like the greens were punched maybe a week or so ago but rolled really well, just slow. It was difficult but fun, and I played to a 78 net 71 (par 72), so I couldn’t have been happier. The views are AMAZING! For those that say you lose a lot of balls, if you hit your targets you’ll be fine. The only ball I lost was the one I hit from the “olde beau” plaque behind the green on 15 over the mountain for fun. The pro shop and course staff were great as well, thanks Shane for the tips and great service!
Great view
Very beautiful landscape, mountains in the background.
Extreme hills and beautiful scenery
This is definitely a must play course if you're in the area. Course is beautiful but extremely difficult especially for first time visitor. I loved every minute of it and definitely will be back to challenge it again.
Unbelievable Views
Mountain golf at its best. Every hole looks like it was taken out of a magazine. Excellent course conditions. A must play if in the area.
Fun and challenging layout
Beautiful views and a great course. Very hilly. Only downfall was the amount of mud on the course but it did rain a couple days ago. But if it were dry, it’d probably be a 5 star for me. So take that into account.
Amazing
Awesome course with some of the most scenic golf holes I have ever played
Mountain Golf
Beautiful setting in the mountains. Lots of blind shots. I enjoyed the front 9 more than the back.
scenic course, painfully slow round
first time there, beautiful and scenic course. somewhat challenging. difficult for the first time player to figure out where to hit it on many holes, particularly on the back 9. good condition and greens were great. pace of play was brutally slow. we were a twosome but the foursome behind us had to wait on every shot just like we did. front nine was acceptable, 2:15. back nine was 2:55, are you kidding me?? not a ranger in site all day. 12 guys in front of us were obviously together and watched each other hit shots. from the blue tees i was just 5 over after 15 but my patience was finally gone and i didn't care after that. ruined my round and left bad taste in my mouth for the place. and just saying, but #17 might be the worst excuse for a par 5 i have ever seen. put up some windmills and clowns. rest of the course is very nice and the views are amazing.
Great resort
We played this course the 1st Saturday in October. The leaves had not turned yet but the views are still beautiful. The greens are in great condition, there are a variety of interesting holes to play, the fairway grass could be thin in some places, but overall the experience was great. I would add too if you want something a bit less challenging, every hole that is not a par three has a par three tee box so you can play the entire course as a par 3. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The driving range has only 5 matts to hit from. There is a small grill next to the pro shop where you can get breakfast biscuits, burgers, hot dogs, etc ... We will be back again I'm sure.
Beautiful
Beautiful views but a bear of a course. Be prepared to lose more golf balls than you usually do playing up here. Some holes were hard to see where i needed to hit my tee ball, and there are no pictures of the hole layout on the post by the tee box. I think the next time I go back it will be about 5 strokes better just knowing where to hit. But overall I don’t regret the drive, and I would definitely make the drive again!
Best greens I've ever played!
Fog lifted before teeing off, unfortunately it returned on the back 9 where it returned for good. No problem, took on the challenge and played thru it.
Did miss the amazing views, next time!
Fairways are a good lye 98% of the time, intermediate rough isn't punishing. Greens are receptive to good shots and putt true.
Would love to stay and play for several days.
