Nice track, well maintained. Try the turkey sandwich.
Just ok
A little slow pace and then had a twosome just show up on the tee in front of me. Adding insult to injury.
Great course conditions,great day
Calling for rain but it held off and we got our round in,conditions great, everything went very well!!Doesnt play long, greens rolled very well
Great, historic course!
Beautiful layout and views from the upper holes and a well conditioned, championships layout with history back to Bobby Jones playing there. Greens are large and slopped but fair. The course is just special!
Wove Our Way Around the Grove
Nice track but very tight. Course is in good shape. I liked the greens. The lack of a range is a bit of a deterrent, but overall a very good experience, despite the persistent rain.
Typical Donald Ross Course.
The course is in great shape for winter golf. Although the greens were recently pushed they putted true. There are some very subtle undulations in the greens that make it challenging but fair. Unfortunately it was cart path only due to some recent rains but the course is very walkable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. All in all our foursome had a great experience.
Great experience
First time playing here and very much enjoyed the experience. Course was definitely challenging. Greens are rolled great for this time of season but they are difficult. I came away with nine pars and was very pleased. I will surely play again. The staff in the pro shop may be the best I’ve ever encountered. Extremely helpful and friendly. Great deal on GolfNow too.
Great setting, difficult greens
I've played Grove Park multiple times via Hot Times on GolfNow. It's always enjoyable, cart staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Greeted by 4 turkey's walking in the parking lot which was cool. My only complaint this day was that I booked the tee time for 10:00 but when I arrived at the course they had me down for 9:50. Not a big deal because I was early enough, but had I run into traffic or something I would hate to lose the spot.
Decent, $30 is max
Cummings Cove was extremely wet so the condition was less than perfect. This isn't the courses fault, just rainy weather lately affected the course. Cart path only isn't terrible on this course because it's narrow. Front 9 plays a little longer than back and is tight. I've played the course often and enjoy it. It is short from whites, not too long from blues. If you spray it around go from the whites. Narrow fairways make up for short holes.
CC is semi-private and my biggest complaint is that members of this course don't care if they hold you up. It's their course and you're lucky to be playing there, is the attitude. While membership has its privileges, those privileges should not over ride common golf courtesy. Staff is handcuffed as they aren't going to upset membership.
Highly recommend .
Friendly staff..excellent greens..nice layout..love playing this course..12 handicapper.
